Sub-account

A sub-account is a separated client workspace inside an agency or platform account, with its own business data, users, agents, usage, permissions, and operational settings.

What does Sub-account mean in practice?

Sub-accounts let an agency manage many clients without mixing their data or controls. Each tenant should have separate knowledge, call and message records, integrations, users, limits and access. The parent partner account can administer the portfolio, while a client sees only its own business. Vendors use client, workspace, location and tenant for similar concepts, but the degree of isolation varies. Ask whether billing, phone numbers, exports and deletion also remain separated, not only the visible dashboard.

Real example

A healthcare agency has separate clinic sub-accounts so each clinic's services, schedules, call transcripts and users remain isolated from the others.
