An AI shop assistant that takes orders on calls and WhatsApp.

Dvaarik gives a retail shop — kirana, boutique, jewellery, medical store, mobile or electronics shop, hardware or furniture — an AI agent that answers calls, WhatsApp, Instagram and website chat from the shop's own product list. It takes the order item by item, reads back the total, collects a payment link or cash on delivery, and sends WhatsApp updates as the order moves.

No monthly fee: ₹0.50 a call minute in 30-second steps and ₹0.05 per AI reply, with ₹50 of free credits to start.

Free signup, no card needed.

What the agent does

What can an AI agent do for a retail shop?

A Dvaarik retail-shop agent answers product questions from your own list, takes orders over calls and chats, collects payment through your own Razorpay account or cash on delivery, and keeps the customer updated on WhatsApp — while every order lands on one Orders page.

Answers from your own product list

Price, size, colour, brand, pack size and whether it is in stock — the agent reads the products you add, by hand or from a CSV of up to 5,000 rows. An item with no price set is quoted as “price on request”, never as free.

Takes the order, item by item

The agent adds items to a cart in the unit the customer says — kilos, boxes, pieces — reads the items and total back, takes the delivery address and pincode, and places the order. Calls, WhatsApp and chat all use the same order flow.

Collects payment, or takes cash on delivery

With your own Razorpay account connected, the agent sends a payment link and the money settles to your account with 0% Dvaarik commission. If you allow cash on delivery, the confirmation tells the customer the amount is payable at the door.

Keeps the customer updated

As you move an order on the Orders page — confirmed, preparing, shipped, out for delivery, delivered — the customer gets WhatsApp updates with the order reference and a link to track it.

Gives the shop an online store page

Every shop gets a public store page with search, categories, a cart, delivery details, the delivery fee and cash on delivery where you allow it. Share it on WhatsApp, Instagram and Google.

Reads WhatsApp catalogue carts

When a customer sends a cart from your WhatsApp catalogue, each item is matched to your own products and handed to the agent to confirm — it is not placed as an order until it is confirmed.

Which shops

Which kinds of shops is the retail agent built for?

Dvaarik's retail-shop setup fits any store that sells repeatable products and delivers them or keeps them for pickup: kirana and supermarkets, boutiques, jewellers, medical stores, mobile and electronics shops, opticians, hardware, furniture and agri-input shops.

Kirana and supermarkets

Repeat orders over WhatsApp, home delivery with a minimum order and a free-delivery threshold, and stock that drops as orders are placed.

Boutiques, saree and clothing stores

Size, colour and availability questions answered from your product details, with photos sent from the product sheet.

Jewellery shops

Design and weight questions from your product details, and “price on request” for pieces whose price changes with the gold rate.

Medical stores and chemists

Availability and home-delivery orders for what you list. The agent is set up never to make health promises, and it does not check prescriptions — keep prescription medicines with your pharmacist.

Mobile, electronics and opticians

Model, variant and stock questions, with the price read from your list and the order or store visit captured.

Hardware, furniture and agri inputs

Seeds, fertiliser, fittings or furniture: quantity in the customer's own unit, delivery address and the delivery fee you set.

How does a shop day change with an AI order agent?

With Dvaarik, a retail shop stops losing late-evening orders, stops matching UPI screenshots by hand, and stops answering “where is my order” calls, because the agent answers, records and updates each order the same way every time.

In each row, the Dvaarik retail agent replaces a manual step with a recorded one: the answer, the order, the payment and the update all sit on the same customer and order, so the shop owner can see the whole day on one screen.

Cost

How much does an AI order agent cost a shop?

A Dvaarik retail agent has no monthly fee. A shop taking 450 two-minute order calls and sending 2,000 AI replies in a month pays Dvaarik about ₹550: ₹450 for 900 call minutes at ₹0.50 and ₹100 for replies at ₹0.05.

  • Calls are charged in 30-second steps, ₹0.25 a step.
  • Your phone company (Plivo, Telnyx or Twilio) and your speech and AI providers bill you directly for their part.
  • Meta bills WhatsApp message charges to your own WhatsApp Business account, with no Dvaarik markup.
  • Customer payments settle to your own Razorpay account; Dvaarik takes 0% commission.

Honest scope

What does the retail agent not do?

Dvaarik's retail agent is an order desk, not billing software: it does not sync with Tally or a POS, issue GST tax invoices or track couriers live.

  • No sync with billing or POS software such as Tally or Vyapar. Stock changes only on the product list inside Dvaarik.
  • No GST tax invoice. You can set a GST % per product and download a simple bill, but it is not tax-invoice software.
  • No live courier tracking. You move the order status yourself on the Orders page.
  • No delivery zones by distance. Delivery is one flat fee, with an optional free-above amount and minimum order.
  • No paying inside WhatsApp yet. Payment is a link to your own Razorpay account, or cash on delivery.

Need a link into your billing software or a flow these settings cannot express? We build custom integrations, quoted per project — ask about a custom build.

Does the shop need an online store already?

No. A shop on Dvaarik keeps its products inside Dvaarik and gets its own public store page. A shop that already sells on Shopify or WooCommerce can let the agent search that store live instead and, with the store or Shiprocket connected, follow up on cash-on-delivery orders, abandoned checkouts and failed deliveries.

A brand whose orders already live on its own website or a marketplace usually wants order-status and delivery support rather than a new order desk — see the D2C brand setup. Order follow-ups for shops are described on the follow-up agent page.

What dashboard does Shop / Retail store actually receive?

Dvaarik provisions the Order Counter shape for the backend key shop. The configured job is to order: repeatable stock is selected and paid for inside one conversation without a calendar or staff rota

The Shop / Retail store dashboard adds Bookings, Customers, Services, Payments to the fourteen universal platform pages. The same registry also changes the owner-facing vocabulary: Bookings become Orders, Services become Products, Staff become Team, Customers become Customers, Brochure become Product sheet. The page list and words are derived on each request rather than being a marketing-only template.

Ask-on-call budget

2 CALL MINUTES

The shop flow asks which item or quantity the customer wants and whether the next step is delivery or a store visit. Products are sold through Dvaarik rather than supported in an external store.

Column-only fields do not force another spoken question. Post-call extraction can still populate a field when the caller volunteers the information naturally.

Which lead fields does Shop / Retail store capture?

Lead fieldCapture behaviour
Item and quantityCaptured as the customer chooses products.
Price acceptanceRecorded when the customer accepts or rejects the listed price.
Delivery or visitAsked to settle the next step.
TimingExtracted when the customer gives a delivery or visit date.

The Shop / Retail store intake record names Item and quantity, Price acceptance, Delivery or visit, Timing. Spoken questions use the stated CALL MINUTES budget; extraction-only columns preserve useful details without turning every call into an interrogation.

Vertical scoring rubric

How does Dvaarik score a Retail shops lead?

Shop scoring measures a specific item or quantity, acceptable price, delivery or visit intent, and timing.

Worked monthly Dvaarik call fees · 1 October 2026

What would 450 two-minute retail-order calls cost per month?

At Dvaarik's ₹0.50 a call minute, 450 calls a month averaging 2 minutes each would use 900 minutes and add about ₹450/month in Dvaarik call fees (450 × 2 × ₹0.50), with no monthly fee. The call volume is an assumption; the rate is the one in force from 1 October 2026.

Dvaarik charges calls in 30-second steps, ₹0.25 a step, so a call is charged up to the next 30-second step. The worked amount is Dvaarik's fee only: your phone company and your speech and AI providers bill you directly for their part.

Retail shop questions

Dvaarik's retail-shop agent is described below as the product works on 1 Oct 2026.

Yes. On Dvaarik a retail shop's AI agent answers calls on your own connected number, WhatsApp, Instagram and website chat from your product list, adds items to a cart in the unit the customer uses, reads back the items and total, takes the address and pincode, and places the order on your Orders page.

There is no monthly fee. Dvaarik charges ₹0.50 a call minute in 30-second steps and ₹0.05 for each AI text reply. As an example, 450 two-minute order calls and 2,000 AI replies a month come to about ₹550 in Dvaarik charges. Your phone company, speech and AI providers and Meta bill you directly for their part. Yes, on the product list inside Dvaarik. Placing an order reduces the stock quantity, an item that reaches zero is marked unavailable, and cancelling the order puts the stock back. It does not sync with Tally, Vyapar or any other billing software.

Yes, if you switch cash on delivery on. The order confirmation tells the customer the amount is payable at the door. If you require payment up front, the customer is sent a payment link from your own Razorpay account instead.

No. Every shop gets a public store page and its products live inside Dvaarik. If you already sell on Shopify or WooCommerce, the agent can search that store live instead, and a brand whose checkout lives on its own website is better served by the D2C support setup.

Chat detects the language of every message, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, English and mixed Hinglish-style text. On calls, language coverage follows the speech providers you connect; test the languages your customers actually speak.

No. The agent can answer availability and take home-delivery orders for what you list, but it does not read or verify prescriptions and is set up never to make health promises. Keep prescription medicines with your pharmacist.
