Razorpay Route is a payment-splitting feature from Razorpay that lets a platform collect money from a customer and automatically split it between multiple merchants (for example, a marketplace splitting a customer payment between the seller and the platform) — without the platform handling the funds directly.

Razorpay Route is how multi-merchant Indian platforms handle customer payments without directly holding funds. Instead of the platform receiving the full amount and then remitting to the merchant (which creates compliance and tax issues), Route does the split at the payment-processor level.
