A Magento AI agent for product questions and COD orders.

Dvaarik connects to an Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source 2.4 store with an integration's access token. The AI agent then answers product questions on website chat, WhatsApp, Instagram and phone calls from your live catalogue, reads new orders from your store about every two minutes to ask cash-on-delivery customers to confirm on WhatsApp, and writes their answer back to the Magento order. Magento is in early access: it has run end to end on one real Magento Open Source 2.4.9 store so far.

No monthly fee: ₹0.05 per AI reply and ₹0.50 a call minute in 30-second steps, with ₹50 of free credits to start.

What does the Dvaarik agent do for a Magento store?

Dvaarik's Magento connection lets one AI agent answer customers from your live catalogue on every channel, ask cash-on-delivery customers to confirm before you ship and write their answer to the order, while orders and payments stay in Magento.

Answers product questions from the live store

Each question is a live search of your Magento catalogue for enabled products shown in your store, with the price, the stock, the product photo and a link to its page. A special price counts inside its dates in your store's own time zone, and an English plural finds its singular, so “kurtas” finds “Cotton Kurta”. There is no catalogue sync, so a price change shows in the next answer on website chat, WhatsApp, Instagram and phone calls.

Reads new cash-on-delivery orders itself

Magento Open Source sends no webhooks, so once you switch COD confirmation on, Dvaarik reads new and changed orders from your store about every two minutes through its REST API. An order counts as cash on delivery by its payment method: Magento's own Cash On Delivery, or the code of the COD module your store uses.

Asks the customer to confirm

Each new COD order gets a WhatsApp message with buttons to confirm, change the address or cancel, or a call to customers whose consent to be called is recorded, after the wait you choose. An order cancelled, closed, completed or shipped in Magento stops the follow-up, and an order first seen more than six hours after it was placed is not asked about.

Writes the answer to the Magento order

A confirmation becomes a private comment in the order's history, with the order's status left as it was. A cancellation uses Magento's own Cancel, which returns the stock. A new address replaces where the parcel goes, keeping the recipient. Each change is read back from Magento, and every answer also stays on your COD confirmations page.

Each new cash-on-delivery order also gets a risk level, low, medium or high, with up to three reasons, read from the order's address and this number's past orders with you. You can have high-risk orders wait for you instead of being messaged or called; the D2C agent guide explains the checks.

How do I connect Magento to Dvaarik?

Connecting Magento is self-serve and needs no extension: create an integration in your Magento admin, paste its access token and your store's address on your Dvaarik dashboard, press Test, then switch on cash-on-delivery confirmation.

  1. Step 1

Sign up as a D2C brand

Create a free account and choose “D2C brand / Own website” as the business type.

  2. Step 2

    Create an integration in Magento

Under System, Extensions, Integrations, add an integration with the permissions in the table below, activate it and copy its Access Token. On Magento 2.4.4 or later, also allow access tokens as standalone bearer tokens.

  3. Step 3

    Connect it in Dvaarik

Choose Magento where your products live, paste your store's https address and the Access Token, add your COD payment code if it is not Magento's own, and press Test.

  4. Step 4

Connect WhatsApp and switch on COD

Connect your own WhatsApp Business number, switch on COD confirmations for the Magento connection and test with an order of your own. Orders placed before the first read are not asked about.

Which permissions does the Magento integration need?

Magento integration permissions and what Dvaarik uses each one for
Resource accessWhat Dvaarik uses it for
Stores > Settings > All StoresYour store's currency, time zone and the addresses of its product pictures and pages
Catalog > Inventory > ProductsSearching your live catalogue, and reading stock on a store with Magento Inventory switched off
Stores > Inventory > Sales StockWhether a product is in stock right now, on a store with Magento Inventory
Sales > Operations > Orders > Actions > ViewReading new cash-on-delivery orders for confirmation
Sales > Operations > Orders > Actions > Comment, Cancel and CreateWriting the customer's answer on the order; Magento guards its address update with Create

The Test reads your store's settings, including its currency and time zone, one product for a sample question, its stock and whether orders can be read, notes which way your store reports stock, and says what to fix. On Magento 2.4.4 or later, set “Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as standalone Bearer tokens” to Yes under Stores, Configuration, Services, OAuth, Consumer Settings; without it Magento refuses the token on every request. Saving alone changes nothing a customer sees: only a passing Test makes the connection live.

What changes in Magento when a customer answers?

Dvaarik writes the customer's answer to the Magento order itself once your COD workflow is on: a confirmation as a private comment, a cancellation through Magento's own Cancel, and a new address on the order's shipping address.

What happens to a Magento order after each customer answer, and when
The customerWhat happens in MagentoWhen it happens
Confirms a COD orderA private comment in the order's history, not emailed to the customer or shown in their account. The order's state and status stay as they were, so your own invoice and ship steps release it.As soon as the customer answers, once your COD confirmations workflow is on.
Cancels a COD orderMagento's own Cancel, which returns the stock. Refused, and sent to your team with the reason, once anything has been invoiced or shipped, while the order is on hold, or when it was paid online. As soon as the customer answers, once your COD confirmations workflow is on.
Gives a new delivery addressThe address is read back to the customer, then written to the order's shipping address with your store's own region (state) and the recipient's name and phone kept. Refused once anything has shipped. As soon as the customer confirms the read-back; a customer's own correction needs no approval.

In short, Dvaarik changes a Magento order only as far as the customer, or you, decided, reads every change back, never writes the same change twice, and leaves anything it cannot do safely, such as confirming an order already cancelled, to your team with the reason. The customer is never told a change is done before Magento shows it. These changes ran end to end on a real Magento Open Source 2.4.9 store on 7 October 2026; Adobe Commerce and versions before 2.4.9 have not been run yet.

What does the Magento connection not do yet?

Dvaarik's Magento connection answers from your catalogue and settles cash-on-delivery orders with your customers; carts, order updates and “where is my order?” answers are available on Shopify and WooCommerce today.

Search matches every word of the question in the product name, not the description or SKU, with up to six results. Catalogue price rules and tier or customer-group prices are not applied. Stock comes from Magento Inventory's default stock, or from Magento's stock index on a store with Magento Inventory switched off, where a new product shows without stock until Magento's cron job reaches it.

Compare the WooCommerce integration or the Shopify integration.

  • A cart in chat that opens your Magento checkout. The agent links to the product page on your store instead.
  • Order confirmed, shipped and delivered messages, and “where is my order?” answers, for Magento orders.
  • Changes a customer asks for in chat on a Magento order that never had a cash-on-delivery confirmation.
  • Failed-delivery follow-up and unfinished-checkout reminders from Magento itself. Failed deliveries can still reach Dvaarik through Shiprocket, set up with our team.
  • Product photos in order messages. A Magento order message shows your logo instead of the product's picture.

What does a Magento AI agent cost?

A Dvaarik Magento agent has no monthly fee and no fee per order. As an illustration, 3,000 AI replies in a month come to ₹150 in Dvaarik charges at ₹0.05 a reply.

  • Order messages such as COD confirmations are WhatsApp templates. Meta bills them to your own WhatsApp Business account, and Dvaarik adds no charge or markup.
  • A customer tapping a button on an order message is not an AI reply and is not charged.
  • Calls are ₹0.50 a minute in 30-second steps, plus what your own phone company and speech and AI providers bill you directly.
  • Customers pay in your own Magento checkout. Dvaarik never holds the money and takes 0% commission.

Prices in force from 5 October 2026. The reply count is an assumption, not a measured result. See full pricing

Magento questions

Dvaarik's Magento connection is described below as the product works on 7 Oct 2026.

Yes, in early access, for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source 2.4. The AI agent searches your live Magento catalogue to answer customers on website chat, WhatsApp, Instagram and phone calls, and reads new orders from your store to ask cash-on-delivery customers to confirm on WhatsApp. Once your COD confirmations workflow is on, their confirmation, cancellation or new address is written back to the Magento order.

No. Dvaarik uses an integration you create in your Magento admin and Magento's own REST API. Magento Open Source sends no webhooks, so once cash-on-delivery confirmation is on, new orders are read from your store about every two minutes, up to 25 orders per store each time.

Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source 2.4. On 2.4.4 or later, set “Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as standalone Bearer tokens” to Yes under Stores, Configuration, Services, OAuth, Consumer Settings; without it Magento refuses the token, and the connection Test says so. Dvaarik reads the store's default store view. So far the connection has run on Magento Open Source 2.4.9.

Only what was decided about that order: the customer's answer once your COD confirmations workflow is on, or your own decision on the order's case. A confirmation becomes a private order comment with the order's status unchanged, a cancellation uses Magento's own Cancel and returns the stock, and a new address is written with your store's own region and the recipient kept. An order already cancelled is not confirmed, and an order that is invoiced, shipped, on hold or paid online is not cancelled: those go to your team with the reason. The customer is never told a change is done before Magento shows it.

Yes. A store with Magento Inventory (MSI) switched off is read the older way, from Magento's stock index, for up to five products per search, and the connection Test notes which way your store answers. A product Magento's stock index has not reached yet, such as a new one, shows without stock until Magento's scheduled cron job updates the index.

The Magento connection is new. It has run end to end on one real store, Magento Open Source 2.4.9 with Magento Inventory switched off: the connection Test, search, the order reads and every change to an order. It has not yet run on Adobe Commerce, through Magento Inventory's own salable-stock route, or on versions before 2.4.9, so connect it, ask about one of your own products and place a cash-on-delivery order with your own number before any customer sees a message.

There is no monthly fee and no fee per order. Dvaarik charges ₹0.05 for each successful AI reply and ₹0.50 a call minute in 30-second steps. Order messages are WhatsApp templates that Meta bills to your own WhatsApp Business account; Dvaarik adds nothing to them.
