Custom setup is ₹40,000 and is free for our 10 founding clients; the minimum first credit load is ₹10,000, later top-ups start from ₹500, and credits never expire. Is inbound AI calling priced differently from outbound in India?
On Dvaarik it is not. The same ₹2 per minute applies whether the agent is picking up or dialling out, and the difference between the two is what the agent is allowed to do.
| Call type | Dvaarik rate | What that covers |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound calls, answered 24/7 | ₹2/min | The Receptionist Agent answers on your number in 22+ Indian languages, books the appointment, and escalates by rules you set. |
| Outbound callback to a fresh enquiry | ₹2/min | The Leads Agent calls your own ad lead or website enquiry within about 60 seconds and fills your lead sheet from the call. |
| Scheduled outbound over your own list | ₹2/min | The Sales Agent works your first-party lead sheet on a schedule. Campaign boards come with the Care Plan. |
| Chat on your website, WhatsApp or Instagram | ₹2 per conversation | One 24-hour conversation window, however many messages it takes. |
| WhatsApp message charges | Billed by Meta to your own account | Meta's published rates land on your own WhatsApp Business account. Dvaarik adds zero markup. |
| Bought lists and cold databases | Not offered at any price | We do not dial purchased or scraped numbers. Outbound goes only to people who contacted you, within calling hours, with the agent identifying your business. |

The short answer on AI calling agent price in India
Dvaarik charges ₹2 per minute for AI calling, whether the agent is answering your phone or calling your own leads back, and there is no monthly platform fee sitting underneath it. The published Indian market around that number is wide. Botsense publishes ₹9/min on Starter and ₹7/min on Growth, with ₹5/min reserved for its Enterprise tier. Aixclerate publishes ₹7/min for minutes beyond a ₹9,999/month or ₹24,999/month plan. Trikon publishes a flat ₹5/min with telephony billed separately by your own carrier. Dhiyo AI Labs publishes a starting rate of ₹5/min and states that final pricing depends on volume, workflow and setup. VaniAgent publishes ₹4.5–5.5/min on a ₹4,999/month metered tier. Scalify Labs publishes a ₹0.40/min headline that its own page describes as an estimate, on top of plans from ₹15,000/month. What we claim about our own number is this: ₹2/min from the very first minute — no subscription, no minimum volume, no lock-in — and permanent rather than promotional. We will not claim it is the lowest number advertised anywhere in the country, because it is not. Ravan.ai's Agni advertises ₹2/min all-in on its marketing pages, and Scalify Labs advertises from ₹0.40/min on a page that labels its own rates estimates and bills voice minutes on top of a monthly plan. What we do claim is the combination: ₹2/min, no subscription, no setup for founding clients, and zero markup on WhatsApp.
Why a per-minute rate on its own tells you almost nothing
Four things turn a low advertised rate into a high real one, and every one of them is visible in published Indian price lists today. First, a mandatory monthly plan. Aixclerate's Starter is ₹9,999 a month with 500 minutes included, so the plan fee dominates the bill long before the ₹7/min overage rate matters — that arithmetic is ours, drawn from their published plan price and included minutes, not a figure they quote. Second, setup fees. Scalify Labs publishes ₹15,000–₹40,000 one-time, MyOperator publishes ₹20,000 for dedicated onboarding, ConnectAI publishes a ₹1,000 one-time clinic onboarding fee. Third, telephony charged on top. Trikon states plainly that telephony and DID numbers are billed separately by your carrier, so its ₹5/min is a platform rate rather than a landed cost, and Edesy quotes ₹6/min plus telephony charged separately again. Fourth, headline rates that only exist at volume. HuskyVoice.AI publishes ₹4/min explicitly as enterprise volume pricing, and Ravan.ai's ₹2/min appears on its own rate card as the Enterprise volume rate at 10,000+ minutes while its entry-tier overage is ₹8/min. None of that is dishonest on any vendor's part. It simply means the only fair comparison is total monthly outlay divided by the minutes you actually use.
What inbound AI calling costs
Inbound is the cheapest thing an AI agent can do for you, because the customer has already decided to call. On Dvaarik the Receptionist Agent answers on your number around the clock, in 22+ Indian languages including code-mixed Hindi and English, and every answered minute bills at ₹2 from your credit balance with whole-minute rounding. There are no per-seat charges, no concurrency licence and no separate inbound platform fee. If we supply the business number, that number carries a ₹2,000 per 30 days recharge which is auto-debited from the same credits, covering the line and one concurrent call. If you already have a working number and we build around it, the recharge does not apply. Compare that shape against MyOperator, which publishes no per-minute voice rate at all and instead sells a ₹10,000 per month AI voice plan with 2,000 minutes included, billed annually, with extra usage at ₹8 per conversation. Neither model is wrong. They just answer different questions, and yours is probably how much a quiet month costs.
What outbound AI calling costs, and the rules we hold ourselves to
Outbound bills at the same ₹2 per minute — we do not charge a premium for dialling out. The Leads Agent calls a fresh ad lead or website enquiry within roughly 60 seconds of it landing, qualifies the person, books the next step and writes the outcome into your lead sheet. The Sales Agent works your existing lead list on a schedule you set, and the campaign boards that drive it come with the Care Plan. Now the part most pricing pages skip. Dvaarik's outbound calls go only to your own leads and enquiries — people who filled your form, clicked your ad, messaged you, or are already your customers. We do not dial purchased databases, scraped numbers or rented cold lists, at any price, for any client. Calls respect Indian calling hours rather than firing at whatever hour a campaign happens to trigger. The agent identifies your business at the start of the call and hands over to a human when the caller asks for one. That is a deliberate limit on what we will sell you, and it is worth checking against every vendor on your shortlist, because a cheap per-minute rate attached to a cold-list dialer is not a bargain.
What ₹2/min covers, and what it does not
₹2/min is the Bharat Standard voice: 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English, the tier that fits almost every Indian business. Where a job genuinely needs something else, the rest of the menu is published rather than quoted — Studio HD voices at ₹3/min, Global voices covering 99 languages at ₹4–5/min, Ultra realtime at ₹10/min for the lowest-latency work, and call recording as an optional ₹0.10/min addition. The base advertised rate is always ₹2/min. What ₹2/min does not include is straightforward and stated up front: the ₹2,000 per 30 days phone number recharge if we supply the number, the ₹5,000 per month Care Plan at the founding rate while it applies, and 18% GST charged when you load credits rather than on each call. WhatsApp message charges are billed by Meta directly to your own WhatsApp Business account at Meta's published rates, and Dvaarik adds nothing to them — that money never passes through us. Chat conversations on your website, WhatsApp or Instagram are ₹2 for a 24-hour conversation window, however many messages it takes.
How the full Dvaarik price is put together
There are three lines and no fourth. Custom setup is ₹40,000, and it is free for our 10 founding clients — as an honest trade rather than fine print. The free build is in return for two things: you keep the Care Plan for your first three months at the founding rate of ₹5,000 per month, and you give an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live. The Care Plan lists at ₹12,000 per month, the founding rate of ₹5,000 is locked for six months, it is required for those first three months and optional from month four onwards, and it covers monitoring, agent tuning as your business changes, campaign and pricing setup help, a monthly report, priority founder support on WhatsApp, unlimited Instagram automations and campaign boards. It is debited from credits like everything else. Usage runs on prepaid credits: minimum first load ₹10,000, later top-ups from ₹500, credits never expire, and at a zero balance everything pauses gracefully instead of generating a surprise invoice. Every figure here is exclusive of GST, and 18% is added at the moment you load credits — a ₹10,000 load is billed ₹11,800, of which ₹10,000 is usable.
Where ₹2/min is not the whole story
Apply to us the same effective-cost test we applied to everyone else and the picture is less flattering at low volume. Assume we supply the number and the Care Plan is running at the founding rate. At 500 minutes a month you pay ₹1,000 of voice, ₹2,000 of number recharge and ₹5,000 of Care Plan — ₹8,000 total, an effective ₹16 a minute. At 1,500 minutes it is ₹3,000 plus ₹2,000 plus ₹5,000, or ₹10,000, an effective ₹6.67. At 3,000 minutes it is ₹13,000, an effective ₹4.33. From month four, when the Care Plan becomes optional, those same three volumes fall to ₹3,000, ₹5,000 and ₹8,000, or ₹6.00, ₹3.33 and ₹2.67 a minute. That is our arithmetic on our own published numbers, and it says something uncomfortable: below roughly 500 minutes a month our fixed costs dominate, exactly like the subscription plans criticised further up this page. Our model gets strong from around 1,500 minutes upward and keeps improving, because the only component that scales with usage is the ₹2 itself. If you expect very low volume, tell us and we will say so.
How to compare two AI calling quotes on the same basis
Ask every vendor the same five questions in writing, and put the answers side by side before you look at any rate card. What is my total bill in month one at my realistic minute volume, including setup, plan fee and telephony — one number, not a rate. Is telephony inside the per-minute rate or billed separately, and if separately, at what rate for Indian numbers. What happens to unused included minutes at the end of the month, because if they expire your effective rate rises in every quiet month. On outbound, am I billed for dialling attempts or only for connected minutes. And what is the exit — notice period, data export, and whether the phone number is portable. Then check the tax basis, because it is not always stated: Dvaarik, VaniAgent, Ravan.ai and MyOperator all publish prices exclusive of GST, while Botsense and ConnectAI say nothing about GST on the pages we checked, which makes a like-for-like comparison against them impossible without asking.
When another vendor is the better buy
Stated plainly, because a cost page that only argues one way is not much use. If you have an in-house engineering team, a developer platform will beat any done-for-you build on unit cost at scale — Vapi publishes $0.05 per minute for its own hosting while stating that model provider costs are excluded and passed through, and Retell AI publishes $0.07–$0.31 per minute for its platform stack with India telephony shown separately in its own calculator. Both are USD-priced with no India rate card. If you need very broad language coverage, VaniAgent publishes 27 Indian languages and Ravan.ai publishes 30+ Indian languages, both larger counts than our 22+. If you are an enterprise with a procurement process, vendors running formal enterprise motions and committed-volume contracts will fit your compliance requirements better than a founder-built agency. And if you want to price the raw components yourself rather than buy an assembled agent, note that Sarvam AI publishes API component pricing but publishes no price at all for its conversational agent product, which is quote-only. Dvaarik is the right buy when you want the workflow built, launched and tuned for you in days, and you want the running cost to be a per-minute number you can predict.
Questions buyers ask about cost
How much does an AI calling agent cost in India?
Dvaarik charges ₹2 per minute for voice, inbound or outbound, with no monthly subscription. Across the wider Indian market, published rates checked on 21 Jul 2026 range from Scalify Labs' ₹0.40/min headline, which their own page labels an estimate and which sits on top of plans from ₹15,000/month, to Botsense's ₹9/min Starter tier. Trikon publishes ₹5/min flat, Dhiyo AI Labs publishes a starting rate of ₹5/min, VaniAgent publishes ₹4.5–5.5/min on a ₹4,999/month tier, ConnectAI publishes ₹4/min on top of an ₹800/month subscription, and Aixclerate publishes ₹7/min for minutes beyond a ₹9,999/month plan. The useful comparison is total monthly outlay divided by minutes used, not the headline rate.
Is Dvaarik cheaper than Botsense, Trikon or Aixclerate?
On published base voice rates, ₹2/min is below Botsense's ₹9/min Starter and ₹7/min Growth tiers, below Trikon's flat ₹5/min, and below Aixclerate's ₹7/min overage rate. It also comes without the monthly plan that Aixclerate requires at ₹9,999 or ₹24,999. We will not claim to be the cheapest in India, because we are not: Ravan.ai's Agni advertises ₹2/min all-in, and Scalify Labs advertises from ₹0.40/min on a page that labels its own rates estimates and bills voice minutes on top of a plan from ₹15,000/month. What is genuinely different about our number is the combination — ₹2/min, no subscription, free setup for founding clients, and zero markup on WhatsApp charges.
What does the ₹2/min actually include?
It covers the AI conversation on a Bharat Standard voice across 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English, inbound or outbound, with whole-minute billing. It does not cover the ₹2,000 per 30 days phone number recharge if we supply the number, the ₹5,000 per month Care Plan while it applies, or 18% GST on credit loads. Optional additions are published rather than quoted: Studio HD at ₹3/min, Global voices at ₹4–5/min, Ultra realtime at ₹10/min, and call recording at ₹0.10/min.
Are there any hidden charges?
No, and the full list is on this page. There is no software subscription, no per-seat licence, no concurrency licence and no platform fee. The things that are easy to miss are the ₹2,000 per 30 days number recharge, the Care Plan, and GST — all prices are quoted exclusive of GST and 18% is applied when you load credits, so a ₹10,000 load is billed ₹11,800 with ₹10,000 usable. WhatsApp message charges are billed by Meta directly to your own account at Meta's rates, and we add nothing to them. At a zero credit balance everything pauses gracefully instead of producing a surprise invoice.
Is ₹2/min a founding-client discount that goes up later?
No. ₹2/min is the permanent base rate for Bharat voices and is not scheduled to rise after any founding period. The founding-client benefits are separate and clearly bounded: the ₹40,000 custom setup is free for our 10 founding clients, and the Care Plan founding rate of ₹5,000 per month is locked for six months against a list price of ₹12,000.
Is inbound priced differently from outbound?
No. Both bill at ₹2 per minute from the same credit balance, and there is no premium for dialling out. What differs is scope: inbound is the Receptionist Agent answering on your number, while outbound is the Leads Agent calling fresh enquiries back within about 60 seconds and the Sales Agent working your own lead list on a schedule. Scheduled campaign boards come with the Care Plan.
Will you call a purchased database or a cold list for me?
No, at any price. Dvaarik's outbound calls go only to your own leads and enquiries — people who filled your form, responded to your ad, messaged you, or are already your customers. We do not dial bought, rented or scraped lists. Calls respect Indian calling hours, the agent identifies your business at the start of the call, and it hands over to a human whenever the caller asks. This is a limit on what we will build, not a paid upgrade.
How is a call billed — per second or per minute?
Whole minutes, which is the standard telecom convention in India. We do not claim per-second billing. A 65-second call bills as two minutes. Worth checking on every shortlist, because vendors differ: Retell AI publishes that it tracks calls to the nearest second, and Bolna AI publishes 30-second pulses on its Pilot plan, while Botsense and VaniAgent both state a per-minute rate without publishing how it rounds.
