WhatsApp AI agent cost India

Your WhatsApp AI agent costs ₹2 a conversation, and Meta bills the rest to your own account.

A WhatsApp AI agent from Dvaarik costs ₹2 per customer conversation, and that is the only thing Dvaarik bills you for on WhatsApp. Meta's own conversation charges are billed by Meta directly to your own WhatsApp Business account, at Meta's rates, with zero Dvaarik markup — we never buy and resell your messages. There is no monthly WhatsApp subscription, no per-seat fee and no message bundle to buy in advance; conversations are debited from prepaid credits that never expire. Custom setup is ₹40,000 and free for our 10 founding clients, in return for the Care Plan for the first three months at the founding rate of ₹5,000/month and an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live. All prices exclude GST; 18% applies when you load credits, so the ₹10,000 minimum first load is billed ₹11,800.

Who pays what when a WhatsApp conversation opens?

Dvaarik's unit is a 24-hour conversation. Meta's unit is its own message category. The two bills are separate and go to separate accounts.

What you are actually paying for on WhatsApp

There are two bills, and they go to two different places. The first is Meta's: every business-initiated WhatsApp conversation falls into a category Meta defines — marketing, utility, authentication, or the service replies you send inside the 24-hour window after a customer writes to you — and Meta charges for it against the account that owns the number, which with Dvaarik is your own WhatsApp Business account. The second bill is ours: ₹2 per customer conversation for the AI that reads the message, understands it in the customer's language, checks your prices and rules, answers, books the slot or sends the payment link. That is the whole of it. There is no monthly WhatsApp subscription, no per-seat charge, no fee for the automation builder and no minimum message bundle to buy up front. Both charges are usage-based, so a quiet month costs you almost nothing on either side, and a busy month is predictable because you can see the unit price of each.

Why we will not quote you a Meta rate

Meta sets WhatsApp conversation prices, revises them when it chooses, and bills them to the account that owns the number. With Dvaarik that account is yours, which means Meta's rate is not ours to fix, discount or promise. Any Indian vendor who prints a per-message rupee figure on a pricing page is publishing their own price for a message, which may or may not still equal Meta's on the day you read it — MyOperator, to its credit, footnotes its own WhatsApp rate card as subject to change as per Meta's policies. We would rather point you at the source than at a snapshot: check Meta's current published WhatsApp pricing for India before you budget, then reconcile it against your own Meta invoice each month. It is the one number in this whole stack that nobody can quietly mark up on the way to you.

What zero markup means, and how to check it

Zero markup is a structural fact, not a discount we could withdraw. Because your own WhatsApp Business Account is the one connected and the one Meta invoices, there is no point in the chain where Dvaarik could add a few paise per message even if we wanted to — we never touch that money and we never issue you a message invoice. Compare that with a blended per-message price quoted by a platform that buys messages and resells them: the gap between Meta's rate and the quoted rate is platform margin, it repeats on every message forever, and you usually cannot see it because it arrives as one number. Two questions settle it with any vendor, ours included, and both should be answered in writing. Will Meta invoice my own WhatsApp Business account directly, or will you invoice me for messages? And if you invoice me, is your per-message price exactly Meta's rate? Botsense answers the first question plainly on its own pricing page, stating that all prices exclude Meta WhatsApp conversation charges, paid directly to Meta. That is the shape you want to see written down.

What Indian platforms publish for WhatsApp

Indian vendors publish WhatsApp pricing in several different shapes, and the shape matters more than the headline. MyOperator publishes SUV AI - Chat at ₹10,000/month with 2,000 chats included and extra usage at ₹8 per chat, a ₹20,000 one-time Dedicated Onboarding fee, and the terms that all plans are billed annually with GST applicable; it also publishes its own WhatsApp message rate card for Indian destination numbers — Marketing ₹0.95, Utility ₹0.13, Authentication ₹0.13, Service free — footnoted as subject to change as per Meta's policies, alongside a separate note that Meta charges are additional. Botsense publishes WhatsApp platform plans at ₹24,999/year for Starter and ₹49,999/year for Growth, with a section headed One-Time Setup (Required) charging ₹15,000 and ₹25,000, and states that all prices exclude Meta WhatsApp conversation charges paid directly to Meta. Trikon publishes WhatsApp Starter at ₹1,500/mo and Pro at ₹5,000/mo as limited-time prices shown against struck-through list prices of ₹2,500 and ₹8,000, with its own per-message rates of Marketing ₹0.86, Utility ₹0.145 and service conversations unlimited free. ConnectAI publishes its Dhanwantri WhatsApp AI at ₹1,999/mo with a minimum three-month commitment billed upfront at ₹5,997. Scalify Labs lists WhatsApp integration on its ₹35,000/month Growth plan, and publishes one-time setup of ₹15,000 to ₹40,000 in a table its own page labels as estimates for which you should always get a formal quote. HuskyVoice.AI bundles WhatsApp notifications into its ₹1,999/month entry plan and answers plainly that there are no setup or onboarding fees. Sarvam AI advertises voice, WhatsApp and web agents on its Samvaad product page but publishes no price of any kind there — every call to action is Contact Us. All figures as published on the vendors' own pages, checked 21 Jul 2026.

A first month, costed line by line

Assume WhatsApp runs on your own number, so there is no phone recharge to pay. You load the ₹10,000 minimum first credit, billed ₹11,800 because 18% GST applies at the point of loading credits, leaving ₹10,000 of usable balance. Month one debits the Care Plan at the founding rate of ₹5,000, which leaves roughly ₹5,000 of usable credit, or about 2,500 customer conversations at ₹2 each. The ₹40,000 custom build is free for our 10 founding clients, in return for the Care Plan for the first three months at that founding rate and an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live. Meta's conversation charges sit entirely outside this arithmetic, on your own Meta invoice, at Meta's rates. From month four the Care Plan is optional; if you drop it, a month in which 400 customers message you costs ₹800 of Dvaarik credits, plus whatever Meta charged your own account for any templates you chose to send.

Where ₹2 a conversation stops being the right shape

Per-conversation pricing wins on low and middling volume and loses on very high volume, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. ₹10,000 of Dvaarik credits covers 5,000 conversations at ₹2 each — that is our own arithmetic on our own price, not a claim about anyone else. Against that shape, MyOperator publishes SUV AI - Chat at ₹10,000/month with 2,000 chats included and extra usage at ₹8 per chat, Trikon publishes WhatsApp Pro at ₹5,000/mo, and ConnectAI publishes Dhanwantri WhatsApp AI at ₹1,999/mo with a three-month minimum billed upfront at ₹5,997. If you are running tens of thousands of conversations a month, a bundled monthly plan can work out cheaper per conversation than any per-unit rate, and the honest comparison then turns on what the bundle excludes: Meta's charges, one-time setup, annual commitment and seat counts. Tell us your monthly conversation volume and we will do that arithmetic with you before you commit, including the case where the answer is that a bundled plan suits you better than we do.

What the ₹2 conversation actually buys

A conversation is a 24-hour window with one customer, not a single message, so a long back-and-forth costs the same ₹2 as a one-line question. Inside that window the agent reads typed messages and voice notes, works across 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English including code-mixed Hinglish, answers from your own prices, catalogue and policies, books a slot with slot-locking, sends a payment link mid-chat with no commission on what you collect, and writes the outcome to your lead sheet. It runs on your own WhatsApp Business number and coexists with the WhatsApp app on your phone, so the moment you reply manually the agent steps back for that one chat and keeps handling everyone else. Template campaigns over your own past enquiries and customers are part of the build, and every reply those campaigns generate is answered live rather than left sitting. Unlimited Instagram automations and campaign boards sit inside the Care Plan rather than being metered separately.

Five questions that expose a WhatsApp quote

Ask these before you sign anything, ours included. One: who does Meta invoice — my account or yours? Two: if you invoice me for messages, is your per-message price exactly Meta's rate, in writing? Three: is the platform fee monthly or annual, and can I stop it — Botsense publishes WhatsApp plans as ₹24,999/year and ₹49,999/year, and ConnectAI publishes a three-month minimum billed upfront at ₹5,997, so the answer is not always monthly. Four: is there a one-time setup charge — Botsense publishes a required one-time setup of ₹15,000 to ₹25,000, MyOperator publishes a ₹20,000 Dedicated Onboarding fee, Scalify Labs publishes ₹15,000 to ₹40,000 in a table it labels as estimates, while HuskyVoice.AI answers that it has none. Five: are the prices inclusive or exclusive of GST — ours are exclusive, with 18% applied when you load credits, and MyOperator states plainly that GST is applicable. Where a vendor's pages say nothing about GST, as ConnectAI's pricing page and Botsense's AI calling pricing page did when we checked them on 21 Jul 2026, ask them directly before you compare totals.

Questions buyers ask about cost

How much does a WhatsApp AI agent cost in India?

Dvaarik charges ₹2 per customer conversation and nothing else on WhatsApp — no subscription, no per-seat fee, no message bundle to buy in advance. Meta's own conversation charges are billed by Meta to your own WhatsApp Business account at Meta's rates, with zero markup from us. Custom setup is ₹40,000 and free for our 10 founding clients, in return for the Care Plan for the first three months at the founding rate of ₹5,000/month and an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live. The minimum first credit load is ₹10,000, billed ₹11,800 with 18% GST. For market context as published on 21 Jul 2026, ConnectAI lists a WhatsApp AI product at ₹1,999/mo, Trikon at ₹1,500 to ₹5,000/mo, MyOperator at ₹10,000/month with 2,000 chats included, and Botsense at ₹24,999 to ₹49,999/year.

What does the ₹2 per conversation include?

One 24-hour conversation window with one customer, however many messages that takes. Inside it the agent reads text and voice notes, replies across 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English, answers from your own prices and policies, books slots, sends payment links with no commission, escalates to you when your rules say so, and writes the outcome to your lead sheet. It runs on your own WhatsApp Business number and coexists with the WhatsApp app on your phone. What it does not include is Meta's own conversation charge, which Meta bills to your account, and GST, which is applied when you load credits.

Is a WhatsApp AI agent from Dvaarik cheaper than a platform subscription?

At low and middling volume, usually — there is no fixed monthly floor to pay in a quiet month, and credits never expire. At very high volume a bundled plan can win on cost per conversation, and we will say so rather than sell you the wrong shape. The comparison that matters is not the headline but headline plus setup plus commitment plus who pays Meta. Botsense publishes WhatsApp plans at ₹24,999/year and ₹49,999/year with a required one-time setup of ₹15,000 or ₹25,000; MyOperator publishes ₹10,000/month for SUV AI - Chat with 2,000 chats included, extra usage at ₹8 per chat, a ₹20,000 one-time onboarding fee and annual billing; ConnectAI publishes ₹1,999/mo with a three-month minimum billed upfront at ₹5,997. Put your own monthly volume against those shapes and against ₹2 a conversation with no floor.

Are there hidden charges on WhatsApp with Dvaarik?

There are four charges in total and all four are on this page. ₹2 per conversation for the AI handling. The Care Plan at the founding rate of ₹5,000/month, required for the first three months and optional from month four. 18% GST when you load credits, so a ₹10,000 load is billed ₹11,800. And Meta's own conversation charges, which never pass through us at all. The ₹2,000 per 30 days phone number recharge applies only if we supply a phone number for voice — WhatsApp on your own number does not need it. There is no commission on payments collected in chat, no charge for the automation builder and no per-seat fee for extra people reading the inbox.

Why does Dvaarik not publish Meta's WhatsApp rates?

Because they are not our rates to publish. Meta sets the categories and prices, revises them when it chooses, and bills them to the account that owns your number — which is yours. Any figure we printed would be a snapshot of someone else's price list, and a stale snapshot is worse than none when you are budgeting. Even vendors who do print a rate card hedge it: MyOperator footnotes its WhatsApp message rates as subject to change as per Meta's policies. Check Meta's current published India rates, then verify them against your own monthly Meta invoice.

How do I verify the zero-markup claim?

Look at whose name is on the Meta bill. Your WhatsApp Business Account is the one connected and the one Meta invoices, so message charges appear on your own Meta invoice at Meta's rates and you can reconcile them yourself without asking us for a breakdown. Dvaarik never bills you for a message, which is why there is no Dvaarik per-message rate card anywhere on this site. If a vendor invoices you for messages instead, ask in writing whether their per-message price is exactly Meta's rate — the gap, if there is one, is the markup, and it repeats on every message.

What happens if my Dvaarik credits run out?

The Dvaarik balance and the Meta balance are independent, and each fails in its own way. If your Dvaarik credits reach zero, everything pauses gracefully — no overdraft and no surprise invoice — and a top-up from ₹500 resumes it. Credits never expire, so an unused balance simply carries forward to the next month, and we flag a low balance before it becomes a problem. On the Meta side, message charges sit on your own Meta account, so keep a working payment method on it and read Meta's own billing notices — those are Meta's rules to state, not ours to restate.

Can I keep my own WhatsApp number, and does that change the cost?

You keep your own WhatsApp Business number, and it lowers your cost because there is no ₹2,000 per 30 days number recharge to pay — that charge exists only when we supply a phone number for voice calling. Your number is connected through official Meta flows and coexists with the WhatsApp app on your phone, so you can take over any chat manually while the agent handles everyone else. One number can sit with only one provider at a time, so moving it is a real migration rather than a parallel setup, and we handle that during the build. If you would rather not touch your main number, a second number works equally well.
