AI Voice Agent Cost Calculator India: ₹2/min

Four hundred calls a month averaging two minutes twenty seconds is 1,200 billed minutes at Dvaarik's ₹2/min, which is ₹2,400 of voice credits — ₹4,600 a month once you add a ₹2,000 per 30 days number and about a hundred chat conversations, or ₹9,600 a month while the founding Care Plan runs in months 1 to 3. This page gives you the formula, the four inputs that actually move the number, a month-by-month debit table, and the same 1,200-minute basket priced against 18 voice-AI vendors selling into India — every competitor figure read on that vendor's own page (sixteen on 21 Jul 2026, two on 26 Jul 2026), with the terms attached.

The sum is calls per month × billed minutes per call × ₹2, plus ₹2,000 per 30 days if we supply the phone number — so a business taking 400 calls a month at an average of two minutes twenty seconds pays ₹2,400 in voice credits, ₹4,400 with the number, and ₹4,600 once you add about a hundred chat conversations, rising to ₹9,600 a month in months 1 to 3 while the founding Care Plan is being debited from the same balance. Most AI voice pricing pages in India stop at the per-minute rate, which is the one number that cannot answer the question you actually have. You do not buy minutes; you buy a month. This page converts between the two, in both directions: enter your call volume and get a monthly figure, or take a monthly budget and see how many calls it buys. Three things make this arithmetic different from a generic estimator. Billing here is whole-minute, so a 40-second call bills as one minute and two 30-second calls cost twice what one 60-second call costs — that rounding is the single most under-modelled line in this market, and it is built into the formula below. The number recharge and the Care Plan are debited from the same prepaid credit balance as your calls, not invoiced separately, so a monthly total that ignores them is not a monthly total. And every competitor row is priced from figures read on that company's own page (sixteen vendors on 21 Jul 2026, Vyora and Superfone on 26 Jul 2026) and stored with the sentence it came from, not lifted from a search snippet or a rival's comparison table. Dvaarik AI is ours, and we say so before the numbers rather than after. Where a vendor in the table below suits you better than we do, that is written down too.

How do I calculate what an AI voice agent will cost me per month?

Four inputs, in this order. Everything else is a rounding error until your volume is large.

#InputWhere to get itDvaarik rate
1Calls per monthYour phone bill or call log — count answered plus missed, because the agent picks up both
2Average call length, rounded up to the next whole minuteYour call log's duration column; whole-minute billing means a 2 min 20 s average is billed as 3 minutes a call₹2/min
3Chat conversations per monthWhatsApp and Instagram enquiries, counted as 24-hour conversations, not as messages₹2 per conversation
4Whose phone number the agent answers on₹0 if you forward your existing line to the agent; ₹2,000 per 30 days if we supply the number, auto-debited from credits₹2,000 / 30 days

The formula. Billed minutes = calls per month × average call length rounded up to the next whole minute. Voice cost = billed minutes × ₹2. Monthly total = voice cost + (chat conversations × ₹2) + number recharge + Care Plan, if you are in a month where the Care Plan applies.

Rounding up the average is a deliberate upper bound. Your true bill sits between two lines: a floor of calls × the raw average (nobody's calls are all the same length), and the ceiling the formula gives you. Budget to the ceiling and be pleasantly wrong.

Three worked businesses. Same formula, three real shapes of call volume.

Business shapeCalls/monthAvg callBilled minutesVoice at ₹2/minChats+ number ₹2,000Months 1–3 with Care Plan
Single-doctor clinic1501 min 40 s → 2 min300₹60060 = ₹120₹2,720₹7,720
Salon or small gym4002 min 20 s → 3 min1,200₹2,400100 = ₹200₹4,600₹9,600
Real-estate office calling its own ad leads9001 min 50 s → 2 min1,800₹3,600150 = ₹300₹5,900₹10,900

The last column is what actually leaves your credit balance in months 1, 2 and 3 as a founding client. From month 4 the Care Plan is optional, so the column before it is the steady-state number. If you forward your existing business number instead of taking one from us, subtract ₹2,000 from both.

All Dvaarik figures are quoted exclusive of GST. The 18% is added at the point of loading credits — a ₹10,000 credit load is billed ₹11,800, of which ₹10,000 is usable balance. There is no platform fee, no seat fee and no subscription of any kind. If you want to put a number on the problem before you price the fix, the missed-call loss calculator does the other half of the sum.

What does month 1 actually cost, including the number and the Care Plan?

This is where most estimators quietly understate, because the number recharge and the Care Plan come out of the same prepaid balance as your calls. Here is the salon or small gym from the table above — 400 calls, 1,200 billed minutes, roughly 100 chat conversations — month by month.

MonthNumber rechargeCare PlanVoice (1,200 min)Chat (100 convos)Debited that month
1₹2,000₹5,000₹2,400₹200₹9,600
2₹2,000₹5,000₹2,400₹200₹9,600
3₹2,000₹5,000₹2,400₹200₹9,600
4 onward, Care Plan optional₹2,000₹0₹2,400₹200₹4,600
4 onward, your own number forwarded₹0₹0₹2,400₹200₹2,600

What to load. The minimum first credit load is ₹10,000, billed ₹11,800 with 18% GST. At this volume that first load covers month 1 and leaves ₹400, so plan a top-up early in month 2. Later top-ups start at ₹500, credits never expire, and at zero balance everything pauses gracefully rather than running up a bill you did not agree to.

Run the same table for the other two shapes and the picture changes:

  • Single-doctor clinic (300 minutes). Month 1 debits ₹7,720 — ₹2,000 number, ₹5,000 Care Plan, ₹600 voice, ₹120 chat — so the ₹10,000 first load leaves ₹2,280 carrying into month 2. This is the volume the ₹10,000 minimum was sized for.
  • Real-estate office (1,800 minutes). Month 1 debits ₹10,900, which is more than the ₹10,000 first load. A top-up lands inside month 1. Better to know that now than on day 26.

The setup line. Building the agent is ₹40,000 one-time, and it is free for our 10 founding clients. That is a trade, stated plainly rather than in fine print: the free build is in return for the Care Plan for the first three months at the founding rate of ₹5,000/month (list is ₹12,000), and an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live. If either of those is not something you want to do, the setup fee applies and the arithmetic above still holds — you simply pay ₹40,000 once and drop ₹5,000 from months 1 to 3.

The Care Plan is not a support contract padding the bill. It covers monitoring, agent tuning and behaviour changes, campaign and pricing setup help, a monthly report, priority founder WhatsApp support, unlimited Instagram automations and campaign boards. It is required for the first three months and optional from month 4. The line items nobody puts on a pricing page are walked through in the hidden costs of AI voice agents in India.

What do 18 voice-AI vendors cost at the same 1,200 minutes a month?

Same basket for everyone: 1,200 billed minutes in a month, one business, one number, chat excluded. The middle column is our arithmetic on each vendor's published figures, not a rate any of them quotes — where a vendor publishes a plan price and an included-minutes allowance, we have added the overage. Every figure was read on that vendor's own page: sixteen vendors on 21 Jul 2026, Vyora and Superfone on 26 Jul 2026. Two of the eighteen publish only in USD and have no India pricing page, so we do not convert them. Rates in this market moved within weeks during collection, so re-check the vendor's own page before you sign anything.

VendorWhat they publish1,200 minutes works out toThe terms attached
Dvaarik AI (ours)₹2/min, no subscription₹2,400 voice + ₹2,000/30-day number = ₹4,400₹2/min from the very first minute — no subscription, no minimum volume, no lock-in. Months 1–3 add ₹5,000 Care Plan at the founding rate. Setup ₹40,000, free for our 10 founding clients. Ex-GST; 18% at credit load
Agni (Ravan.ai)Starter ₹2,999/mo incl 300 min, ₹8/min overage; Growth ₹5,999/mo incl 1,000 min, ₹6/min₹10,199 on Starter, ₹7,199 on GrowthSubscription is the only published route — per-minute rates apply as overage on a plan. Their ₹2/min is published as a quote-only Enterprise volume rate at 10,000+ minutes. Telephony is billed separately as a third-party pass-through, listed on their page at roughly ₹1.08/min outbound and ₹0.71/min inbound for India. Prices exclude 18% GST
AixclerateStarter ₹9,999/mo incl 500 min, ₹7/min overage₹14,899Subscription mandatory — the prepaid wallet covers usage only. Call recording ₹0.20/min optional; extra business number ₹699. Setup is presented as bundled with no amount published
Bolna AI6.00¢/min standard, which their page displays as ₹5.52/min₹6,624 on their own conversion — not a verified all-inThe ₹ figure is Bolna's own conversion at a hard-coded 92 INR/USD, not an India-priced rate. Their docs state total call cost is STT + LLM + TTS + telephony + a flat Bolna platform fee whose amount is not published, so this is not established as all-inclusive. No subscription; credits from $10
Botsense₹9/min Starter, ₹7/min Growth, ₹5/min Enterprise₹8,400 on Growth — Starter is capped below this basketStarter is capped at "up to 1,000 minutes/month", so a 1,200-minute month sits on Growth at ₹7/min. Starter card states "No monthly commitment" and the page claims no setup fee. Enterprise is Contact Sales. Their pricing page carries no statement either way on GST or on whether billing rounds per second or per minute — a verified absence, so do not assume either
ConnectAI₹800/mo standalone (or ₹499/mo as an add-on to their ₹2,499/mo clinic suite) + ₹4/min₹5,600 on the standalone routeSubscription required to unlock the receptionist; talk-time debits 8 credits per minute from a clinic credit wallet. One-time ₹1,000 onboarding fee for new clinics. Built for clinics specifically. No GST treatment stated on their pricing page
Dhiyo AI Labs"Starts at ₹5/min"₹6,000 as a floor onlyTheir pricing page publishes no numbers at all — Starter, Growth and Enterprise all read "Custom". They state twice that final pricing depends on call volume, workflow, setup, language, integration and use case, so ₹5/min is a starting point, not a rate
EdesyPay As You Go ₹6/min + telephony $0.07/min₹7,200 plus telephony billed on topNo monthly commitment on the Pay As You Go tier; minimum recharge ₹500. Their own competitor-comparison widget quotes a ₹1.50/min figure for themselves that does not appear on their rate card — we have used the rate card. A ₹20,000 onboarding package is published, which converts to ₹20,000 of credits
HuskyVoice.AI₹1,999/mo entry including 100 credits at 2 credits = 1 minuteNot calculable from published figuresThe entry plan's 100 credits are 50 minutes, and no overage rate is published, so a 1,200-minute month cannot be costed from what they publish. Their ₹4/min is published strictly as enterprise volume pricing, never as an entry rate. No setup fee, no lock-in, cancel anytime
MyOperatorSUV AI - Voice ₹10,000/mo including 2,000 minutes₹10,000 — 1,200 fits inside the allowanceNo per-minute voice rate is published anywhere on their site; extra usage is ₹8 per conversation, not per minute. All plans billed annually, GST applicable. Dedicated onboarding is a separate published line at ₹20,000 one-time
Retell AI$0.07–$0.31/min for the platform stackNot priced hereUSD only — no INR pricing and no India pricing page, so we do not convert it. The headline range is explicitly the platform stack and excludes telephony. No minimums, no contracts; billing tracked to the nearest second on accumulated minutes
Sarvam AINothing, for the assembled agentNot publishedThe Samvaad conversational-agents page carries no per-minute rate, no plan price and no setup fee — every CTA is Contact Us. API components (STT ₹30/hour, TTS, LLM) are priced separately, so you can price the parts but not the agent. No monthly subscription required for API credits
Scalify Labs₹0.40/min headline; plans from ₹15,000/moBelow their published minimumTheir blog states minimum engagement is 10,000 minutes/month (₹4,000) with a 3-month initial commitment, so a 1,200-minute month is not an engagement they publish. Voice minutes are billed separately on top of the plan. Their own page labels its rates estimates and tells you to get a formal quote. Setup ₹15,000–₹40,000 one-time. Hindi + English is the standard base
SquadStackNothingNot publishedNot one currency figure appears on any page. The rate is shared after a discovery call, a one-time setup fee applies per use case with the amount not stated, and the entry tier carries a 90-day commitment. They do publish that the meter runs only on live calls
SuperfoneBusiness phone productDifferent jobA second business number with call management, rather than an agent that holds the conversation. A per-minute agent comparison does not apply — and for some readers this is the right purchase, not us
TrikonFlat ₹5/min₹6,000No subscription, no setup fee, no per-seat charge, no annual lock-in. But telephony and DID numbers are billed separately by your own carrier, so ₹6,000 is not the landed cost. Their own worked example puts a 500-minute month at about ₹2,500. A stale search result still shows ₹6/min for them; the live pages say ₹5
VaniAgentMetered Credits ₹4,999/mo + ₹4.5–5.5/min₹10,399 at ₹4.5/minThe ₹4,999 is a recurring plan fee on the metered tier, so the per-minute rate sits on top of a monthly plan. Unlimited plans start ₹21,999/mo with a 3-month minimum commitment. Prices exclude 18% GST, the same convention we use. 27 Indian languages, more than our 22+. The site does not state whether billing rounds per second or per minute
Vapi$0.05/min platform hosting on the Build planNot priced hereUSD only — no INR pricing and no India pricing page. The $0.05/min sits under a table heading that reads "Excludes Model Provider Costs", and the plan states model costs are passed on to the customer, so it is a hosting fee rather than a call rate. 10 call concurrency included, then $10 per line per month
Vyora AIBusiness ₹3,449/mo = 8,000 credits at 15 credits = 1 minuteAbout 533 minutes, then top-ups1,200 minutes needs top-ups on top of the plan (₹50 for 75 credits up to ₹1,000 for 2,250 credits). No setup fee, credits roll over and never expire. Built mainly for outbound campaign calling, with plan limits counted in contacts per campaign, and no bring-your-own-number option today

How to read this table. Ten of the eighteen produce a rupee monthly figure at this basket. Three publish rupee figures that do not reach a 1,200-minute month — HuskyVoice publishes no overage rate above its 50 included minutes, Scalify's published minimum engagement is 10,000 minutes, and Vyora's Business plan covers about 533 before top-ups. Two publish only in USD. Sarvam publishes rates for the API parts but none for the assembled agent. SquadStack publishes no numeric price at all. And one, Superfone, is a different product. So eight of the eighteen cannot be costed at this basket from what they publish — that distribution is the finding, and it means the rate is often less informative than whether the vendor will show you one.

We do not claim to be the lowest rate in India, and the table is exactly why. Our claim is about the terms: ₹2/min from the very first minute — no subscription, no minimum volume, no lock-in. The maintained board covering every vendor we track, with the sentence and URL each figure was read from, is the India AI voice agent pricing index.

Which inputs actually move the monthly number?

In rough order of how much they change the answer.

1. Whole-minute rounding, not the rate. Billing is per whole minute, telecom-standard. A 61-second call bills as 2 minutes where a 59-second call bills as 1, and two 30-second calls cost twice what one 60-second call costs. Businesses with many very short calls — a shop confirming "are you open", a lab confirming a report is ready — pay proportionally more than their raw talk-time suggests: a 70-second average call bills as 2 minutes, which is 71% more billed minutes than the raw talk time. If your calls cluster just over a minute boundary, model 1 extra minute per call and see whether the total still works. Ask any vendor for their rounding rule in writing — Botsense and VaniAgent both publish a per-minute rate with no rounding rule stated anywhere, while Retell publishes the opposite convention, billing on accumulated minutes tracked to the nearest second.

2. Who owns the phone number. ₹2,000 per 30 days if we supply the number and the concurrent line, ₹0 if you keep your existing business number and forward it. At 300 minutes a month the number is more than three times the cost of the calls. Forwarding is also the lower-commitment start: forward only after-hours and busy-signal calls first, widen once you have heard real conversations. An extra concurrent line is ₹1,500/month and an extra number is ₹750/month, both from the same balance.

3. Whether you are in months 1–3. At the clinic's volume the founding Care Plan is ₹5,000 of a ₹7,720 month — nearly two-thirds of the debit. At 1,800 minutes the same ₹5,000 is under half of a ₹10,900 month. From month 4 it is optional. If you drop it, you lose the tuning, the monthly report and the campaign boards, not the agent.

4. Voice tier. ₹2/min is Bharat Standard — 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English — and it is the permanent base rate, not a founding discount. Where a build needs more, the menu is Studio HD ₹3/min, Global across 99 languages ₹4–5/min, Ultra realtime ₹10/min, and call recording at +₹0.10/min. Most Indian SMB workloads sit on the base rate; if yours does not, we say so before you load credits, not after.

5. Channel mix. Chat is ₹2 per 24-hour conversation, not per message — a customer who sends fourteen messages in an afternoon is one conversation. WhatsApp's own Meta charges are billed by Meta directly to your own account, with zero markup from us, so they never appear on this calculator and never appear on our invoice either.

6. GST. 18%, applied when you load credits rather than per call. Budget the load, not the debits: ₹10,000 of usable balance costs ₹11,800.

A per-minute rate is a fine way to compare two vendors and a poor way to plan a month. If you want the same arithmetic laid out for a specific product rather than as a general formula, we work it through on AI calling agent price in India and AI voice agent pricing in India.

How do I run this calculator on a vendor that will not publish a rate?

One of the eighteen vendors above publishes no numeric price at all, one publishes rates for the API parts but not for the assembled agent, and several more publish a number that only applies under conditions stated somewhere else on the site. The calculator still works — you just have to extract the inputs by asking. Six questions, in this order, and get the answers in writing.

Ask thisWhy it changes the numberWhat a good answer sounds like
What is the rate, and what has to be true before I get it?Several published rates in this market are volume floors or enterprise tiers. Agni's ₹2/min is a quote-only Enterprise rate at 10,000+ minutes; HuskyVoice's ₹4/min is published strictly as enterprise volume pricingA rate with no conditions, or the conditions stated in the same sentence as the rate
Is there a monthly plan I have to be on before the rate applies?Agni, Aixclerate, ConnectAI, HuskyVoice, MyOperator, Scalify Labs and VaniAgent all publish a monthly plan as the entry route, so their per-minute number is an overage rate sitting on a plan, not a standalone priceEither "no plan" or the plan price and its included minutes, so you can add them
How is a call rounded — per second, per whole minute, or per conversation? The unit is not cosmetic: on a whole-minute rule a 70-second average bills as 2 minutes. MyOperator bills extra usage per conversation rather than per minute; Botsense and VaniAgent publish nothing on roundingA stated rule. "Per minute" without a rounding rule is not an answer
Does the rate include the telephony, or does a carrier bill me separately?Trikon's ₹5/min explicitly excludes telephony billed by your own carrier; Retell's headline range excludes it; Vapi's $0.05/min sits under a heading that reads "Excludes Model Provider Costs"Either "included" or the telephony rate, so you can add it
What is the one-time cost, and is it refundable as credit?Setup fees in this market run from nothing published to ₹15,000–₹40,000. Some convert to credits — Edesy's ₹20,000 onboarding package does — and some do notA number, and whether it converts
What happens at zero balance, and what happens if I leave in month 2?Minimum commitments exist at several vendors — 3 months at Scalify Labs and on VaniAgent's unlimited plans, 90 days on SquadStack's entry tierGraceful pause, no surprise bill, and a stated exit

If a vendor cannot answer the first two in a message, that is data. It does not make them a bad vendor — enterprise procurement genuinely works this way — but it does mean you cannot run this calculator on them, and you should not sign until you can. Our answers to all six are on the pricing page with the numbers on it, and you can put the same six to us on WhatsApp.

When does this calculator say do not buy an AI voice agent?

Four cases where the sum comes out against us, honestly.

You already answer nearly every call. The recurring floor is ₹2,000 per 30 days for a number plus ₹5,000/month for the Care Plan in the founding first three months. That has to be earned back by business you are currently losing. Count the calls you actually missed last month and multiply by your average order value using the missed-call loss calculator. If the loss does not comfortably clear the monthly debit, wait. We would rather tell you that now.

You need a second line, not an agent. If the real problem is that one phone is engaged and a second person could pick up, an Indian business-phone product — Superfone is the one we keep meeting — is a second number with call management for a fraction of this, and it is the honest answer. An agent is worth it when nobody is available to answer at all, not when someone is busy for ten minutes.

You only run outbound campaigns over lead lists. Vyora is built mainly for outbound campaign calling, with plan limits counted in contacts per campaign and TRAI and DLT handling built around that job, from ₹799/month. That is a different product shape from inbound answering, and if campaigns are all you need, forcing a contest between us would be dishonest. Note that our outbound agents call only your own leads and enquiries — never purchased or scraped lists — so if your plan depends on cold lists, we are not the vendor for you at any price.

You are running 10,000 minutes a month or more. Volume changes the answer, and here the flat rate stops being an automatic win. At 10,000 billed minutes, Dvaarik is ₹20,000 in voice plus ₹2,000 for the number, so ₹22,000 a month. Scalify Labs publishes a minimum engagement of 10,000 minutes/month at ₹4,000, on plans starting ₹15,000/month with voice billed separately — roughly ₹19,000 a month by our arithmetic on their published figures, plus ₹15,000–₹40,000 one-time setup and a 3-month initial commitment, with Hindi and English as the base languages. Two caveats belong with that: their own page labels its rates estimates and tells you to get a formal quote, and their blog and service page disagree on the entry price. But the direction is real. At high volume, run both sums with your actual language mix and commitment appetite before assuming a flat rate wins.

The honest summary of the whole table: the number that matters is the one at your volume, on your terms, with your telephony included or excluded consistently on both sides. That is what this page is for.

If you want us to run it for you, send your call volume, your average call length and whether you have a business number already — tell us your problem on WhatsApp and you get the month laid out, including the case where we say do not buy it. The live demo agent is at app.dvaarik.com/dvaarik-ai if you would rather hear the thing before you price it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I work out what an AI voice agent will cost me per month in India?

Multiply your calls per month by your average call length rounded up to the next whole minute, then multiply by the rate. At Dvaarik that rate is ₹2/min, so 400 calls averaging 2 minutes 20 seconds is 1,200 billed minutes and ₹2,400 of voice credits. Then add the things that come out of the same balance: ₹2 per chat conversation, ₹2,000 per 30 days if we supply the phone number (₹0 if you forward your existing line), and — for founding clients in months 1 to 3 — ₹5,000/month for the Care Plan at the founding rate. That salon-sized example lands at ₹4,600 a month in steady state and ₹9,600 a month while the Care Plan runs. Everything is quoted exclusive of GST; 18% is added when you load credits, so ₹10,000 of usable balance is billed ₹11,800.

Is ₹2 per minute the whole cost, or are there hidden charges on top?

₹2/min is the voice rate, and there are three other lines, all of which we would rather you see now. The phone number is ₹2,000 per 30 days if we supply it, auto-debited from your credits, and ₹0 if you forward a number you already own. Chat conversations are ₹2 each, counted as 24-hour conversations rather than per message. The Care Plan is ₹5,000/month at the founding rate (list ₹12,000), required for the first three months and optional from month 4, and it is debited from the same credit balance rather than invoiced separately. On top of all of that, 18% GST applies when you load credits. What there is not: no subscription, no platform fee, no seat fee, no minimum volume and no lock-in. WhatsApp's own Meta charges are billed by Meta directly to your account with zero markup from us, so they never touch this calculation.

Why does a 40-second call cost the same as a full minute?

Because billing is per whole minute, which is the telecom standard — a 40-second call rounds up to one billed minute, and a 61-second call bills as two. We say this plainly rather than advertising per-second billing, because it genuinely changes the sum for some businesses. If most of your calls are very short — confirming opening hours, confirming a report is ready — your bill will run higher than raw talk-time suggests, and you should model an extra minute per call when budgeting. It is worth asking any vendor you shortlist for their rounding rule in writing. Of the eighteen India-market vendors in our ledger — sixteen read on 21 Jul 2026, two more on 26 Jul 2026 — Botsense and VaniAgent publish "per minute" with no rounding rule stated at all, MyOperator bills extra usage per conversation rather than per minute, and Retell publishes the opposite convention, billing on accumulated minutes tracked to the nearest second.

What is the minimum I have to spend to get started?

The minimum first credit load is ₹10,000, billed ₹11,800 with 18% GST. In month 1 that balance is debited ₹2,000 for the phone number and ₹5,000 for the Care Plan at the founding rate, leaving roughly ₹3,000 for actual calls and chats — about 1,500 minutes of voice at ₹2/min, or around 1,500 chat conversations. Whether that covers your month depends on your volume: a 150-call clinic finishes month 1 with about ₹2,280 still in the balance, while a 900-call real-estate office will need a top-up inside month 1. Top-ups start at ₹500, credits never expire, and at zero balance everything pauses gracefully instead of running up a bill. Building the agent is ₹40,000 one-time and free for our 10 founding clients, in return for the Care Plan at the founding rate for the first three months and an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live.

Do I have to pay ₹2,000 for a number if I already have a business number?

No. If you already have a business line, the usual setup is call forwarding: your number rings as it always has, and unanswered or after-hours calls forward to the agent. Nothing on your boards, cards or listings has to change, and the ₹2,000 per 30 days does not apply. That drops the steady-state monthly total for the 1,200-minute example in this page from ₹4,600 to ₹2,600. Forwarding is also the lower-commitment way to start — forward only busy hours and holidays first, listen to how the agent handles real callers, then widen it. If you do want a number from us, it is ₹2,000 per 30 days for the number plus one concurrent line, auto-debited from credits, with an extra line at ₹1,500/month and an extra number at ₹750/month.

Which AI voice agent is the cheapest in India for about 1,200 minutes a month?

We will not answer that as a ranking, because the honest answer depends on terms you have not told us yet. What we can give you is the arithmetic on published figures, each read on that vendor's own page on 21 Jul 2026. At a 1,200-minute basket, ConnectAI's published combination works out to ₹5,600 (₹800/mo standalone plus ₹4/min, clinic-focused, plus a one-time ₹1,000 onboarding for new clinics), Trikon's flat ₹5/min to ₹6,000 with telephony billed separately by your own carrier, Agni's Growth plan to ₹7,199 with telephony as a separate pass-through, Botsense's Growth tier to ₹8,400 because their ₹9/min Starter is capped at 1,000 minutes, MyOperator to ₹10,000 with the minutes inside a bundled allowance and no per-minute rate published, and Aixclerate to ₹14,899. Dvaarik is ₹2,400 in voice plus ₹2,000 for a number if we supply it. Those middle figures are our arithmetic on their published plan prices and overage rates, not rates any of them quotes. Scalify Labs' 10,000 minutes/month minimum means a 1,200-minute month is not an engagement they publish, SquadStack publishes no numeric price at all, and Sarvam publishes API component rates but none for the assembled agent. Our claim is not that we are cheapest — it is that ₹2/min applies from the very first minute, with no subscription, no minimum volume and no lock-in.

Does the ₹5,000 Care Plan come out of my credits or is it billed separately?

It is debited from the same prepaid credit balance as your calls, along with the ₹2,000 per 30 days number recharge — which is exactly why a monthly estimate built only from the per-minute rate understates what actually leaves your balance. In months 1 to 3 as a founding client, ₹7,000 of every month's debits is number plus Care Plan before a single call is billed. From month 4 the Care Plan is optional and that drops to ₹2,000, or to nothing if you are forwarding your own number. The Care Plan is not a support retainer padding the invoice: it covers monitoring, agent tuning and behaviour changes, campaign and pricing setup help, a monthly report, priority founder WhatsApp support, unlimited Instagram automations and campaign boards. The founding rate of ₹5,000/month is locked for six months against a list price of ₹12,000.

You do not buy minutes, you buy a month. Run your own call volume through the formula, add the number recharge and the Care Plan if they apply to you, and you have a figure you can put in a budget — not a rate you still have to translate. If your total comes out lower than you expected, the honest reason is usually that your calls are shorter than you think; if it comes out higher, it is almost always whole-minute rounding on a lot of very short calls, and that is worth designing around rather than discovering on an invoice.

Send us your monthly call volume on WhatsApp and we will run the numbers with you — including the months where the Care Plan applies, so you see the real total, not the flattering one.

AI Calling Agent Price in India (2026)

Most AI calling vendors in India publish a per-minute rate that is not what you end up paying. This guide shows the published rates, does the arithmetic the rate cards leave out, and publishes our own all-in effective cost — including the parts that make us look expensive.

AI Receptionist Cost India 2026: ₹2/min

₹2 per billed minute, ₹2,000 per 30 days if we supply the number, 18% GST on credit loads. This page does the arithmetic properly — month-one bill, steady-state bill, five worked examples by business type, and the line items every quote leaves out.

AI Voice Agent India: 22+ Languages, ₹2/min

Dvaarik's AI voice agent answers and places calls in 22+ Indian languages at ₹2/min, from the first minute, with no subscription and no minimum volume. Here is how that sits against the India platforms that publish a rate at all — and the ones that do not — each figure read on the vendor's own site on 21 Jul 2026.

Missed Call Cost India: Your 5 Numbers, ₹2/min

Every rupee figure on this page is one of three things: our own published price, a competitor's own published price read on a stated date, or an input we invented for a worked example and labelled as invented. There is no industry statistic anywhere on it. The one piece of arithmetic we assert as ours is that answering a two-minute call costs ₹4, because our published voice rate is ₹2 per minute and billing is whole-minute. Everything else about your losses is arithmetic you run on your own five numbers — how many calls rang out, what share were genuine new enquiries, your close rate, what one job is worth, and how many you already win back. We went looking for a sourced Indian figure for missed-call revenue loss and could not find one with a study, a sample size or a method behind it. So there is a formula instead, five worked examples at volumes you will recognise, the full month-one cost of answering including the ₹2,000 per 30 days number recharge and the founding Care Plan, and a section on when the arithmetic says do nothing.

Is an AI Receptionist Worth It? The ₹2,600 Test

An AI receptionist is worth it when the enquiries it recovers are worth more than roughly ₹2,600 a month, which is what 300 answered minutes costs on Dvaarik from month four: ₹600 of voice at ₹2 a minute plus the ₹2,000 phone number recharge, before GST. If one converted customer leaves you ₹2,000 of profit, two of them a month clears that. Below about 200 answered minutes a month it is usually not worth buying from us, because a fixed number recharge does not get smaller when your call volume does. This page gives you the break-even arithmetic in your own numbers, and the situations where the honest answer is no.
