What people are really asking when they compare Dvaarik and VaniAgent

Most people landing on this comparison are running a small or mid-sized Indian business, have looked at an AI calling platform, and are stuck on one question: do I sign up for a tool and build the agent myself, or do I get someone to build it for me. VaniAgent is a Bengaluru-based platform you subscribe to and configure. Dvaarik is not a platform you log into and configure. Rohith Sriramula builds each agent personally, from Telangana, and hands over something already working. Those are genuinely different purchases, and the money works differently too.

  • Do I want software to operate, or an agent someone builds and maintains for me
  • Is my call volume high and steady (a monthly plan wins) or low and spiky (per-minute wins)
  • Do I mainly need to answer inbound calls, or to run outbound campaigns to my own lead list
  • Am I buying for a procurement team that will ask for certifications and SLAs

The 60-second verdict

VaniAgent sells an AI calling platform on a monthly subscription, positioned explicitly against per-minute billing: its headline offer is unlimited calling on their own Vani TTS voices from ₹21,999/month on one concurrency, with a metered alternative at ₹4,999/month plus ₹4.5–₹5.5/min, all excluding 18% GST and with a three-month minimum on the plan tiers (published on their pricing page, checked 20 Jul 2026). The product is shaped around outbound campaigns — script, voice test, voice selection, scheduled calling — with use cases like sales qualification, payment reminders and appointment confirmation listed on their homepage. Dvaarik is the opposite shape. We are not a SaaS product. We build a custom AI voice agent for your business — receptionist, leads, sales, WhatsApp, Instagram, booking or payments — and you pay ₹2 per minute of talk time on simple whole-minute billing, ₹2 per chat conversation, from credits that never expire. Setup is ₹40,000 one-time and is currently free for our ten founding clients, in return for the Care Plan for the first three months at the founding rate of ₹5,000/month and an honest testimonial and short case study after go-live. So our real monthly floor in those first three months is ₹5,000 Care Plan plus ₹2,000 per 30 days for the phone number if we supply it, before a single minute of talk time — quote us against their plan on that basis, not on ₹2/min alone. Minimum first credit load is ₹10,000, top-ups from ₹500. WhatsApp conversation costs are billed by Meta to your own account with zero markup from us. Their published prices are stated exclusive of 18% GST, and so are ours — on our side, our prices are exclusive of GST, with 18% GST applied when you load credits (a ₹10,000 credit load is billed ₹11,800) — so both compare like for like on tax. Neither approach is universally better and the crossover is arithmetic, not opinion.

Do the minutes maths before anything else, and do it against our real monthly floor rather than our headline rate. Their unlimited plan is ₹21,999/month ex-GST. Our side in the first three months is ₹5,000 Care Plan plus ₹2,000 number recharge plus ₹2/min, so the crossover sits near 7,500 minutes a month — roughly four hours of live talk time a day. From month four, if you drop the Care Plan, the crossover moves out to about 10,000 minutes. If your business genuinely sustains that kind of volume, a monthly plan is cheaper and more predictable than paying us per minute, and you should take it seriously. Below that line, per-minute wins, and it wins by a lot at the volumes most Indian small businesses actually run. Two caveats on their side of the sum: their plan covers unlimited calling on their own Vani TTS voices, and their pricing page does not state whether telephony minutes on a bring-your-own provider are billed on top of the plan, so confirm that before you model it. Their metered tier does not close the gap either — ₹4.5–₹5.5/min is more than double our ₹2/min before you add its ₹4,999 monthly entry (their published figures, checked 20 Jul 2026). The second question is who does the work. VaniAgent gives you a console, a free trial with ₹200 in credits, and the job of building and tuning the agent yourself. Dvaarik gives you an agent that is already built, in your languages, saying your things, with no console to learn. The third question is procurement. If a security questionnaire is coming, they publish a SOC2 Type II claim and a 99.9% uptime SLA on their enterprise page and we do not have equivalent paperwork to hand you. Be honest with yourself about which of those three questions is the one that decides your purchase.

Pick Dvaarik when

Dvaarik is the better choice

  • Your call volume is low to moderate. Under roughly 7,500 minutes a month — counting our ₹5,000 Care Plan and ₹2,000 number recharge alongside the ₹2/min — we come in below a ₹21,999/month plan, and most clinics, showrooms, salons and agencies are nowhere near that line.
  • You want the agent built for you, not by you. Nobody in your team has to learn a console, write scripts or tune voices — that is the work we do, and it is why the Care Plan exists.
  • Your priority is answering inbound calls 24/7 rather than dialling out. A receptionist that never misses a call at 11 PM is a different product from a campaign dialler.
  • You want your customer conversations to close, not just to happen — booking a slot, locking it, sending the reminder, and taking the deposit inside the same conversation, with no commission on what you collect.
  • You want a smaller committed number in front of you. Their 1-concurrency plan locks you in for ₹65,997 ex-GST over three months. Our equivalent commitment is ₹15,000 of Care Plan plus ₹6,000 of number recharge if we supply it, with the ₹40,000 build waived for founding clients and unused credits never expiring.

Pick VaniAgent when

VaniAgent is the better choice

  • You run heavy, sustained outbound — collections, admissions calling, real-estate lead chasing. Above roughly four hours of talk time a day, their ₹21,999/month plan for unlimited calling on their own Vani TTS voices beats our ₹2/min plus fixed monthly costs outright, and a fixed monthly number is easier for finance to sign off than a variable one.
  • Your buyer is a procurement or security team. They publish a SOC2 Type II claim and a 99.9% uptime SLA on their enterprise page. Those are boxes on a vendor questionnaire that we currently have nothing to put in, and that can end a deal before a demo happens.
  • You have an existing Salesforce or Zendesk stack, or a telephony contract you want to keep. Their enterprise page names those CRM and helpdesk integrations, and their homepage names five telephony providers you can bring your own account to. Because we do not name the vendors behind our stack, we cannot answer that question as concretely as they can.
  • You need many simultaneous calls at peak. They sell concurrency as the unit — a second concurrent caller at ₹39,599/month for two — and their enterprise page claims scaling to 10,000+ concurrent lines. A founder-built operation cannot credibly promise that today.
  • A technical buyer wants depth in the voice stack itself. They claim a proprietary TTS model with 27-language voice cloning trained on 2,900 hours of speech. If in-house voice technology is what you are evaluating, that is their story to tell and we deliberately do not tell ours.

Frequently asked

Questions about Dvaarik vs VaniAgent

At what call volume does VaniAgent's plan become cheaper than Dvaarik?

+
Compare like with like, including our fixed monthly costs and not just our per-minute rate. Their 1-concurrency plan is ₹21,999/month ex-GST (their pricing page, 20 Jul 2026). Our side in the first three months is ₹5,000 Care Plan plus ₹2,000 number recharge if we supply the number, plus ₹2/min — so the crossover sits near 7,500 minutes a month, roughly four hours of live talk time a day. From month four, if you drop the Care Plan, it moves out to about 10,000 minutes. Above those lines they are cheaper, below them we are, and the gap widens the lower your volume goes. Their figures are stated exclusive of 18% GST, and our prices are exclusive of GST too, with 18% applied when you load credits, so both sides compare like for like on tax. The honest headline: heavy sustained outbound favours them, everything else favours per-minute.

Is Dvaarik a cheaper version of the same thing?

+
No, it is a different purchase. VaniAgent sells you software and you build the agent. We build the agent and hand it over working. That is why we charge ₹40,000 for setup — currently free for our ten founding clients in return for the Care Plan for the first three months at ₹5,000/month and an honest testimonial plus short case study after go-live. If you have someone in-house who enjoys configuring tools, a platform may suit you better.

What does Dvaarik actually cost in month one?

+
Minimum first credit load is ₹10,000. If you are a founding client, the ₹40,000 setup is waived. Month one debits ₹5,000 for the Care Plan at the founding rate, and ₹2,000 for the phone number recharge if we supply the number, leaving roughly ₹3,000 for actual usage — about 1,500 minutes of talk time at ₹2/min. Top-ups start at ₹500 and credits never expire.

Who builds and runs the agent at Dvaarik?

+
Rohith Sriramula, the founder, builds every agent personally. We are based in Telangana and build for businesses anywhere in India. There is no account-management layer between you and the person who built the thing. That is an advantage on responsiveness and a limit on scale — if you need a 24/7 dedicated technical account manager, that is something VaniAgent's enterprise page lists (their enterprise page, 20 Jul 2026) and we do not.

Does VaniAgent do inbound receptionist work as well as outbound calling?

+
Their public pages are shaped around outbound campaigns — the described workflow is script input, voice testing, voice selection, then scheduled calling, and the listed use cases are sales qualification, payment reminders, appointment confirmation, support follow-up, reactivation and feedback collection. We could not confirm from those pages whether 24/7 inbound answering is a first-class product, so ask them directly if inbound is your main need. Our Receptionist agent is built for exactly that.

How do WhatsApp costs work on each side?

+
On our side, WhatsApp conversation charges are billed by Meta directly to your own WhatsApp Business account, with zero markup from Dvaarik. You use your own number, with coexistence so your team can keep using it too. VaniAgent lists WhatsApp automation via the Meta API on its homepage, but does not state on its public pages how those conversation costs are billed, so ask before you assume.

Do you call purchased lead lists?

+
Never. Our outbound agents call only your own leads — people who filled your form, clicked your ad, or asked you to call back. We will not run a campaign against a bought database, regardless of what it would do for the invoice.

See it working before you decide.

Our own agent is live right now — chat with it or call it at app.dvaarik.com/dvaarik-ai, then compare that with VaniAgent's demo. Or describe your problem on WhatsApp and get a plan and a price, usually the same day.
