Embedded Signup

Embedded signup is an in-product onboarding flow that lets a business authorise and connect an external platform account without manually exchanging credentials or API keys.

What does Embedded Signup mean in practice?

Embedded signup moves a third-party authorisation flow inside the software the customer is already using. For WhatsApp, the business signs into Meta, selects or creates its business assets, chooses a number and grants the platform defined access. The client does not hand an agency its personal password. A safe agency process records which entity owns the account, what permissions were granted, who can revoke them and how offboarding works. Embedded signup reduces setup friction but does not transfer ownership of the client's business asset to the agency.

Real example

A client starts inside its agency-branded workspace, signs into Meta in the official flow, selects its WABA and grants the access needed to run WhatsApp automation.
