A Dvaarik AI receptionist for a physiotherapy clinic in India costs from ₹2 per billed minute of talk time, billed in whole minutes from prepaid credits, with no subscription, no minimum volume and no lock-in. If Dvaarik supplies the phone number, add ₹2,000 per 30 days. The one-time ₹40,000 build is currently free for Dvaarik's first 10 founding clients, in return for keeping the Care Plan at the ₹5,000/month founding rate for the first three months and giving an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live. A single-therapist clinic running 520 billed minutes a month therefore spends about ₹3,040 a month once the founding Care Plan period ends, and the full arithmetic — including what months one to three actually cost — is worked out below. That figure is at the top because most pages ranking for this question do not publish one. Prices for competing vendors on this page come from a single ledger of figures read on each vendor's own page on 21 Jul 2026, and each is quoted with the terms attached, because a per-minute number without its terms is not a price. This page is deliberately about physiotherapy rather than clinics in general, because the money in a physio practice does not sit where it sits in a GP clinic. Physiotherapy is prescribed as a course of sessions, not a single visit. A patient who stops attending after session four of a ten-session course takes six sessions of already-scheduled revenue with them, and in a small clinic nobody has a free hand to call and ask why — the therapist's hands are on a patient for the whole working day. That mid-course drop-off, and the same-day missed-session callback that can still refill the slot, are the two workflows this page prices. For the broader medical picture, read AI receptionist for clinics in India or the clinics overview. One boundary governs everything else here, so it is stated before the pricing: Dvaarik's agent books, reminds and routes. It never gives clinical advice, never assesses a symptom, never suggests or modifies an exercise, and never discusses medication. That is a fixed rule and not a configurable setting. The section on it explains exactly what happens when a patient rings to say their back hurts more after yesterday's session.
What does a Dvaarik AI receptionist cost a physiotherapy clinic?
Every line that can debit your account, in one table. These are Dvaarik's own published figures.
| Line item | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Voice calls | from ₹2 per minute | Bharat Standard, covering the 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English, is ₹2/min — Dvaarik's permanent base rate, not a founding discount. Studio HD is ₹3/min; Global voices for non-Indian languages are ₹4–5/min; Ultra realtime is ₹10/min |
| Billing granularity | Whole minutes | A 40-second call bills 1 minute; a 2 min 20 s call bills 3 minutes. Dvaarik does not offer per-second billing and does not claim to |
| Chat conversations | ₹2 per conversation | A 24-hour window on website chat, WhatsApp and Instagram text |
| Phone number + 1 concurrent line | ₹2,000 per 30 days | Only if Dvaarik supplies the number. Auto-debited from your credit balance |
| Extra concurrent line | ₹1,500 per 30 days | Only if two calls must be answered at the same moment |
| Extra phone number | ₹750 per 30 days | A second branch line, for example |
| Call recording | +₹0.10 per minute | Optional, and only if you switch it on |
| One-time build (setup) | ₹40,000 list | Free for Dvaarik's 10 founding clients |
| Care Plan | ₹12,000/month list · ₹5,000/month founding rate, locked 6 months | Required for the first 3 months of a founding build, optional from month 4 |
| Minimum first credit load | ₹10,000 | One time, to start |
| Later top-ups | From ₹500 | Whenever you choose. Credits never expire |
| WhatsApp message fees | Billed by Meta to your own Meta account | Dvaarik adds zero markup |
| GST | 18%, applied when you load credits | All prices above are quoted exclusive of GST. A ₹10,000 credit load is billed ₹11,800 — ₹10,000 usable plus ₹1,800 GST |
What is not on that list
- No monthly platform or software subscription.
- No per-therapist or per-seat fee.
- No minimum monthly volume and no annual contract on usage.
- No charge to add another agent type later. Inbound answering, outbound recall, WhatsApp and payments all draw from the same credit balance.
The month-one arithmetic, in full
The founding offer has a real floor, and it is better seen here than on an invoice. Taking the free build as a founding client, your first ₹10,000 credit load is consumed like this:
| Month-1 debit | Amount |
|---|---|
| Phone number, 30 days | ₹2,000 |
| Care Plan, founding rate | ₹5,000 |
| Talk time for a 520-minute month at ₹2/min | ₹1,040 |
| Left on the balance, carried forward | ₹1,960 |
So your real month-one outlay is ₹10,000 of credits, billed ₹11,800 with GST — not ₹1,040 of call time. Months two and three debit the same ₹2,000 number recharge and ₹5,000 Care Plan from the same balance, which is why the founding period costs about ₹8,040 a month at this volume. From month four the Care Plan becomes optional, and the same clinic pays ₹1,040 of talk time plus ₹2,000 for the number — ₹3,040 a month.
The honest reading of those two numbers: Dvaarik is expensive per minute at low volume, because the ₹2,000 number charge is fixed and does not care how little you call. If you already have a working clinic number you want answered, that ₹2,000 disappears and the rate is ₹2.00 flat. Full terms are on the pricing page.
Why a physiotherapy clinic's numbers are different from a GP clinic's
This section contains no statistics, because no sourced Indian physiotherapy drop-off or no-show figure was available while writing this page. What follows is mechanism — how the money moves — and you can put your own clinic's numbers into it.
The unit of sale is a course, not a visit
A physiotherapy patient is usually prescribed a block of sessions across several weeks rather than one appointment. Whether your protocol is six sessions, twelve, or ongoing maintenance, the commercial consequence is the same: one new patient represents a run of scheduled slots, not a single fee. A patient who stops after session four of ten does not cost you one missed appointment. They cost you the remaining sessions, and they take the slot's future occupancy with them.
The person who should chase that is holding a patient's leg
In a single-therapist or two-therapist clinic, the therapist is also the front desk. Hands are physically on a patient for the length of every session, and modality setup, positioning and payment at the counter fill the gaps. A phone ringing during a session is answered late, badly, or not at all — and a mid-course patient who has quietly stopped coming is not a phone call anyone remembers to make at 8pm.
That is a structural constraint, not a discipline problem, and it is the specific reason an AI receptionist has a different job in physiotherapy than in dentistry. In dentistry the prize is the six-month recall. In physiotherapy the prize is the current course finishing.
The four physio calls, and what each one costs
| Call type | What it is | Billed minutes, typical | Cost at ₹2/min |
|---|---|---|---|
| Same-day missed-session callback | The patient does not arrive for a booked slot; the agent calls within the hour, while the slot can still be offered to someone else | 2 | ₹4 |
| Next-session confirmation | A short call or WhatsApp message ahead of the next slot in the course | 1–2 | ₹2–₹4 |
| Lapsed-course restart | The patient stopped part-way through a prescribed course; the agent calls, from your own list, and offers slots | 2–3 | ₹4–₹6 |
| New enquiry, inbound | Fees, timings, parking, which condition you treat, is home visit available | 2–3 | ₹4–₹6 |
Whole-minute rounding is real and it works against you on short calls: a 65-second confirmation call bills two minutes.
The only sum that matters
A restart call costs roughly ₹4 to ₹6 of talk time. You know your own per-session fee. Divide your session fee by ₹5 and you have the number of restart calls one recovered session pays for. That is the whole business case, and it is arithmetic you can do without trusting Dvaarik.
What this page will not do is tell you what share of lapsed patients come back. Dvaarik does not have that figure for Indian physiotherapy clinics and will not borrow an unsourced one. Any vendor quoting you a drop-off reduction percentage should be asked which clinics, over what period, measured how. Related reading: customers not showing up.
What do other vendors selling into India charge, and on what terms?
Every figure in this table was read on the vendor's own page on 21 Jul 2026 and is quoted with the condition attached to it, because in this market the condition is usually the price. Nothing here comes from a search snippet, an AI summary or a rival's comparison page.
| Vendor | Published entry terms | Per-minute position | The caveat that changes the number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dvaarik | No subscription. ₹10,000 minimum first credit load; top-ups from ₹500 | ₹2/min from the first minute | ₹2,000 per 30 days if Dvaarik supplies the number, stated separately rather than folded into the rate. Whole-minute billing |
| ConnectAI | ₹800/month standalone, or ₹499/month as an add-on to their ₹2,499/month clinic suite. One-time ₹1,000 onboarding for new clinics | ₹4/min, billed as 8 credits per minute from a clinic credit wallet | The subscription is what unlocks the receptionist — the ₹4/min sits on top of it. They publish no language count; their own comparison table claims Hindi and Indian English |
| Trikon | No subscription. Their page states no setup fees, no per-seat charges and no annual contracts | Flat ₹5/min | Their own page states telephony and DID numbers are billed separately by your carrier, so ₹5/min is not your landed cost. Eleven languages named on their India page |
| VaniAgent | ₹4,999/month Metered Credits plan, or ₹21,999/month flat unlimited | ₹4.5/min on the Vani Ultra voice, ₹5.5/min on Ultra Fast | The per-minute rate sits on top of the ₹4,999/month plan. The unlimited plans carry a 3-month minimum commitment. 27 Indian languages. Prices exclude 18% GST |
| HuskyVoice.AI | ₹1,999/month entry plan including 100 voice credits, at 2 credits per minute | ₹4/min is published only as "Enterprise volume pricing as low as ₹4/min" | That ₹4/min is an at-volume enterprise floor, not their entry rate. Their own pricing guide says pricing depends on volume and use case, and there is no canonical pricing page on the site |
| Agni by Ravan.ai | Starter ₹2,999/month including 300 minutes; Growth ₹5,999/month including 1,000 minutes | Starter overage ₹8/min; Growth ₹6/min; Scale ₹4/min | Their advertised "from ₹2/min" appears on the rate card only against quote-only Enterprise, described on their homepage as the volume rate at 10,000+ minutes. Starter is Hindi and English only. Prices exclude 18% GST |
| MyOperator | SUV AI Voice ₹10,000/month including 2,000 minutes. Dedicated onboarding ₹20,000 one-time. All plans billed annually | No per-minute rate published anywhere. Extra usage is ₹8 per conversation | Because the overage unit is a conversation and not a minute, no honest per-minute figure can be quoted for MyOperator at all |
| Aixclerate | Starter ₹9,999/month including 500 minutes; Business ₹24,999/month including 2,000 minutes | ₹7/min for extra minutes | There is no pay-as-you-go entry point — the lowest published cost to use the product is ₹9,999/month. Call recording is ₹0.20/min extra; additional concurrency is a ₹499 add-on |
| Scalify Labs | Plans from ₹15,000/month, with voice minutes billed separately on top. Setup ₹15,000–₹40,000 one-time | Headline ₹0.40/min | Their own page labels its rates estimates and says to always get a formal quote. Their stated minimum engagement is 10,000 minutes a month with a 3-month initial commitment, and the base rate covers Hindi and English |
| Botsense | "No monthly commitment" stated on the AI calling page | ₹9/min Starter, ₹7/min Growth, ₹5/min Enterprise | Starter is Hindi and English only; the 10+ language list starts at Growth. Their page states no GST treatment either way, and does not specify rounding |
| Dhiyo AI Labs | Pricing page shows "Custom" for all three tiers | ₹5/min, published as a "starts at" floor inside a blog post | Their own wording is that final pricing depends on call volume, setup, workflow, language and integration. No monthly price, setup fee or credit ratio is published anywhere |
| SquadStack | Entry tier is a pilot with a 90-day commitment | No rupee figure published anywhere on the site | A one-time setup fee applies per use-case with no amount stated, and the rate is shared after a discovery call |
| Sarvam AI | Conversational agent product is quote-only | No agent per-minute rate published | API components such as speech-to-text are priced publicly in rupees, but the assembled agent is not priced at all. Do not accept a third-party quoted Sarvam per-minute rate |
| Bolna AI | Prepaid credits, no monthly plan. Purchases from $10 | 6.00¢/min standard, which their own page renders as ₹5.52 at a hard-coded 92 INR/USD | Their documentation states total call cost is voice AI processing plus telephony plus a Bolna platform fee, and the platform fee amount is not published — so 6¢/min is not verifiably all-in |
| Edesy | Pay As You Go with a ₹500 minimum recharge; Pro ₹1,499/month, Max ₹4,999/month, Ultra ₹14,999/month. A ₹20,000 onboarding package converts to ₹20,000 of credits | ₹4–6/min on the official pricing page; ₹6/min plus telephony on Pay As You Go | Edesy's own comparison widget quotes a different ₹1.50/min figure that does not appear on their rate card. The official pricing page is the citable one |
Two vendors priced in dollars, listed separately because converting them would invent a number. Retell AI publishes $0.07–$0.31 per minute for voice agents, and that range is the platform stack only — telephony is separate and priced through a country selector. Vapi publishes $0.05 per minute of hosting under a heading that reads "Excludes Model Provider Costs", with speech, language-model and speech-synthesis costs passed through on top. Neither publishes an India rate card, so neither belongs in a rupee table.
How to read that table if you run a physio clinic
Fourteen vendors other than Dvaarik are listed above. Seven of them require a monthly subscription before a single call is answered — ConnectAI, VaniAgent, HuskyVoice.AI, Agni, MyOperator, Aixclerate and Scalify Labs. Three publish no per-minute rate at all — MyOperator, SquadStack and Sarvam AI. And four publish a headline rate that their own page then qualifies: Agni and HuskyVoice.AI with a volume threshold, Scalify Labs with an estimates disclaimer, Dhiyo AI Labs with a "starts at" floor.
Dvaarik's claim is not that ₹2/min is the lowest number in that column — Scalify's headline is lower, and this page is not going to argue with someone else's disclaimer. Dvaarik's claim is about terms: ₹2/min from the very first minute, with no subscription, no minimum volume and no lock-in. A clinic that makes 300 minutes of calls in a slow month pays for 300 minutes. Compare that against a plan with 500 or 2,000 included minutes and ask what happens to the unused ones. See also AI calling agent price in India 2026.
What does the agent actually do at a physiotherapy front desk?
Described mechanically, with no performance claims attached. All clinic and patient names below are invented.
1. Answering, including during sessions and after hours
The agent answers every call, identifies your clinic by name, and works a script you approve. It quotes only what you authorise it to quote — assessment fee, per-session fee, package terms, timings, which conditions you treat, whether you do home visits — and defers anything clinical to you.
> Caller: Do you treat frozen shoulder, and what do you charge. > Agent: This is Ananta Physiotherapy in Kukatpally. Yes, that is one of the conditions our therapists see. The first visit is an assessment, and Dr Rao will advise how many sessions are needed after that. I can offer you an assessment slot on Thursday at 11am or Friday at 5:30pm.
Note what the agent did not do there: it did not say how many sessions a frozen shoulder needs.
2. Booking a whole course into the same weekly slot
Physiotherapy schedules are repeating rather than one-off. Once the therapist sets a course, the agent can book the block — for example Tuesday and Friday at 6pm for four weeks — holding each slot while it confirms, then writing all of them into the calendar and sending one WhatsApp confirmation listing every date. Slot-locking prevents the same time being offered twice while a call is still in progress. More on booking.
3. The same-day missed-session callback
This is the workflow that is specific to physiotherapy, and Dvaarik did not find it priced on any page ranking for this query when the results were checked on 26 Jul 2026. A booked slot goes unattended. The agent calls the patient inside the window where the slot could still be refilled, asks whether they want to move to another time today or later this week, and either rebooks or logs the reason and releases the slot back into availability.
4. The lapsed-course restart call
You supply the list from your own records — patients who were mid-course and stopped. The agent calls within the hours you set, identifies the clinic, states plainly why it is calling, and logs one of four outcomes: booked, call back later, not interested, or no answer. It refers to the course only in general terms. It does not restate the diagnosis, does not argue that the patient needs more sessions, and does not answer "do I really still need this" — that goes back to the therapist. See outbound calls.
Outbound conduct, non-negotiable: Dvaarik agents call only your own patients and enquiries. Never purchased lists, never scraped numbers, never a cold database. The agent identifies your clinic at the start of every outbound call, calling hours are set by you, and a patient who says stop is marked and not called again by that campaign.
5. Package payments and deposits
Where a clinic sells a block of sessions, the agent can send a payment link during the conversation and confirm the booking once payment lands. Dvaarik takes no commission on what you collect. See payments.
6. Reminders on your own WhatsApp number
Reminders go out on WhatsApp from your own number, with a voice reminder call as an option for patients who do not use WhatsApp. WhatsApp message fees are billed by Meta directly to your own Meta account with zero markup from Dvaarik — see WhatsApp Business API cost in India.
Three worked cost scenarios for a physio clinic
All three clinics are invented and sized to be realistic rather than flattering. Minutes are billed minutes, meaning each call is already rounded up to the next whole minute, and all talk time is priced at the ₹2/min Bharat Standard rate.
Clinic A — "Ananta Physiotherapy", one therapist, two treatment tables
| Call mix | Volume | Billed minutes |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound enquiries and schedule changes | 120 calls at 2 min | 240 |
| Same-day missed-session callbacks | 50 calls at 2 min | 100 |
| Lapsed-course restart calls | 90 calls at 2 min | 180 |
| Total | 520 |
| Line | Founding months 1–3 | Month 4 onward |
|---|---|---|
| Talk time (520 × ₹2) | ₹1,040 | ₹1,040 |
| Phone number, 30 days | ₹2,000 | ₹2,000 |
| Care Plan, founding rate | ₹5,000 | ₹0 if you drop it |
| Monthly total | ₹8,040 | ₹3,040 |
| Blended cost per billed minute | ₹15.46 | ₹5.85 |
Read the blended row honestly: at this volume the ₹2/min headline is not the whole story, because the fixed ₹2,000 number charge dominates. If you point an existing clinic number at Dvaarik instead, the month-4 cost is ₹1,040 and the blended rate is ₹2.00.
Clinic B — "Setu Physio & Rehab", three therapists, one location
| Call mix | Volume | Billed minutes |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound enquiries and schedule changes | 380 calls at 2.5 min | 950 |
| Same-day missed-session callbacks | 130 calls at 2 min | 260 |
| Lapsed-course restart calls | 195 calls at 2 min | 390 |
| Total | 1,600 |
| Line | Founding months 1–3 | Month 4 onward |
|---|---|---|
| Talk time (1,600 × ₹2) | ₹3,200 | ₹3,200 |
| Phone number + 1 line | ₹2,000 | ₹2,000 |
| Extra concurrent line | ₹1,500 | ₹1,500 |
| Care Plan, founding rate | ₹5,000 | ₹0 if dropped |
| Monthly total | ₹11,700 | ₹6,700 |
| Blended cost per billed minute | ₹7.31 | ₹4.19 |
For context on the same 1,600 minutes elsewhere, using each vendor's own published figures read on 21 Jul 2026: Aixclerate Business is ₹24,999 a month for 2,000 included minutes; MyOperator's SUV AI Voice is ₹10,000 a month for 2,000 included minutes plus a ₹20,000 one-time onboarding fee and annual billing; Agni's Scale plan is ₹12,999 a month for 2,500 included minutes. Those plans include allowances this clinic would not fully use, and that is exactly the trade — a plan buys certainty, usage billing buys the unused minutes back.
Clinic C — "Prabha Rehab", four branches with a shared call centre and an existing rehab EMR
Dvaarik would decline this one, or take a single branch as a pilot. The reasons are in the section below, and they are not modesty.
Run your own volumes through the missed call calculator.
Where does the agent stop on clinical questions?
Price is one question. This is the other one, and it deserves a written answer rather than a reassuring one.
Dvaarik's agent gives no clinical advice of any kind, for any client, under any configuration. It does not assess a symptom, does not grade severity, does not suggest, modify or explain an exercise, does not comment on whether pain after a session is normal, and does not discuss medication. That is not a setting you can switch on.
On the law: this page is not going to cite a statute governing physiotherapy scope of practice in India, because no such source was verified while writing it, and citing an unread regulation is exactly the failure mode this site refuses. The position Dvaarik works from across healthcare clients, with its sources, is set out on the dental clinic page — India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, framed for registered medical practitioners under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, do not, as Dvaarik reads them, permit an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning platform to counsel or prescribe. That reading is published there with its sources; it was not re-verified for this page. Whether those guidelines bind physiotherapy practice specifically is not something Dvaarik can state. The boundary is applied to every healthcare client regardless, by choice. Take your own legal advice before relying on any vendor's compliance page, including this one.
What that means on a real call
| What the agent does | What the agent never does |
|---|---|
| Recognises that the caller is describing a new or worsening problem and stops trying to book | Decides whether the problem is serious |
| Says plainly that it cannot give any advice about pain, movement or exercises | Says whether post-session soreness is normal |
| Takes the caller's name, number and a verbatim note of what they said | Tells a patient to rest, apply heat or ice, or continue the exercises |
| Alerts the therapist immediately with the transcript | Adjusts, pauses or explains a home-exercise programme |
| Warm-transfers to your escalation number if a human is available | Suggests a painkiller, a dosage, or any medication |
| Offers the earliest slot if you have configured one for urgent review | Tells a caller their problem can wait until the next session |
Illustrative handling, invented patient:
> Caller: After yesterday's session my back is much worse, should I stop the exercises. > Agent: I am not able to give any advice about that. I am noting exactly what you have told me and alerting Dr Rao now, and I can also connect you to the clinic's direct line. Is this the best number for the therapist to call you back on.
You choose the escalation number, the after-hours rule and the exact wording of the refusal. What is not configurable is whether the agent can advise clinically. It cannot.
Is it cheaper than hiring a front-desk person for a physio clinic?
If your clinic has no dedicated receptionist — the therapist, or an attendant helping with modality setup, answers the phone between patients — then the honest comparison is not "AI instead of a receptionist" but "AI instead of nobody". Dvaarik has no survey of how common that arrangement is in Indian physiotherapy and will not invent a share.
Where a salary comparison is relevant, here is the only figure Dvaarik has verified, with its sample size, because a salary figure without a sample size is not evidence:
| Benchmark | Monthly figure | Sample size | Source and verification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Medical receptionist, India | ₹13,003 | 25 reported salaries | Indeed India — Medical Receptionist salaries, page updated 21 Feb 2026, checked 20 Jul 2026 |
| Physiotherapy front desk, India | No figure | — | Dvaarik has no verified physiotherapy-specific front-desk salary figure and will not estimate one |
Treat the ₹13,003 cautiously. Twenty-five self-reported salaries skews toward metro and organised employers, and your real cost in Hyderabad differs from your real cost in Paloncha.
| Human front desk | Dvaarik AI receptionist | |
|---|---|---|
| Rough monthly cost | ~₹13,000 salary anchor, plus statutory costs, training and cover | ₹3,040 at 520 billed minutes from month 4, or ₹1,040 if you use your own number |
| Hours covered | Clinic hours, minus breaks, leave and sick days | 24 hours, including Sundays |
| Calls at once | One | One per concurrent line; extra lines are ₹1,500 per 30 days |
| In the treatment room | Helps a patient onto the table, sets up modalities, takes payment at the counter, reassures a nervous first-timer | None of this |
| Clinical judgement | A trained person can hear urgency in a voice | Does not exercise clinical judgement — routes instead |
| Working a lapsed-course list every week | Rarely happens, because the desk is busy | Genuinely good at this |
The conclusion is not "replace your front desk". These two are poor substitutes and good complements. A person is most valuable with the patient standing in front of them. The agent is most valuable at 9:40pm, during the 6pm rush when two calls land at once, and on the lapsed-course list that nobody will ever get around to working.
When a physio clinic should buy from someone else
Five situations where a competitor, a human, or nothing at all serves a physiotherapy clinic better than Dvaarik does. This section exists because the rest of the page is only credible if this one is honest.
1. Your patients rebook in person as they leave the session
This is the strongest reason a physio clinic might not need this. In a busy practice where every patient books their next slot at the counter before walking out, an AI receptionist adds little on the booking side. It still earns its keep on the after-hours new enquiry and the lapsed-course list — but if neither of those is a live problem for you, the honest answer is that you do not need this yet.
2. You run rehab practice-management or EMR software
Dvaarik has no integration with physiotherapy practice-management, exercise-prescription or EMR systems. Booking is calendar-based, with slot-locking and WhatsApp confirmation. That suits a clinic running on a diary, a WhatsApp group or Google Calendar, and suits you badly if your staff live inside a rehab platform all day. If an attendant would have to retype appointments from a calendar into your system, Dvaarik is creating work rather than removing it. Choose a vendor with the integration.
3. Your practice is home-visit heavy
If most of your revenue is domiciliary physiotherapy, your real constraint is therapist travel and route planning, not call answering. An AI receptionist can take the enquiry and log the address, but it will not solve a routing problem. A scheduling tool built for field visits will help you more.
4. You are a multi-branch chain needing concurrency and an SLA
Dvaarik's default is one number and one concurrent line, with extra lines at ₹1,500 per 30 days. That scales to a few lines, not to a contact centre. MyOperator publishes enterprise tiers; Aixclerate sells additional concurrency as a ₹499 add-on on top of a plan starting at ₹9,999 a month; Retell AI's published pricing includes 20 concurrent calls before it charges for more. If you need real concurrency, a support rota and a written SLA, buy from a company that has those. Dvaarik is one engineer building every agent personally.
5. You need proof before you buy
Dvaarik has no physiotherapy case study and no drop-off or no-show figure, because founding seats are still open on this vertical and this site has a hard rule against publishing proof it does not have. If your decision requires evidence that it worked at a comparable clinic, Dvaarik cannot give you that today. The only counter is that you can call the live demo agent and judge the thing itself rather than a screenshot of a testimonial. That is a real disadvantage and it is better heard here than discovered later.
And one honest note on cost
A flat ₹9,999-a-month plan is easier to approve than prepaid credits with a ₹10,000 first load, a ₹2,000 number recharge and a Care Plan debit. Dvaarik's model wins on total cost at the volumes worked through above and loses on simplicity. Predictability has value, and if your practice manager wants one unchanging line item, a flat plan is a legitimate choice even at a higher effective rate.
Questions to ask any AI receptionist vendor, including this one
Take this list to Dvaarik and to everyone else. The answers separate published prices from quoted ones faster than a demo will.
- What is your per-minute rate in rupees, on a page I can read without booking a demo. Three of the fourteen vendors listed above publish no per-minute rate at all, and one of those three publishes no rupee figure of any kind.
- Is that rate available on my first minute, or only above a volume threshold. Ask specifically whether the headline number lives on a quote-only enterprise tier.
- Is there a monthly plan underneath the per-minute rate. Seven of the fourteen require a subscription before a call is answered.
- Is billing per second or per whole minute. Dvaarik's is whole-minute, which costs you materially if your calls are short, and this page says so rather than hiding it.
- What do I pay in month one before a single call is answered. Setup, plan fee, number, minimum load, onboarding, GST.
- Is the phone number included in the rate, or billed by my own carrier on top. At least one published ₹5/min rate in this market explicitly excludes telephony.
- What exactly does the agent say when a patient rings to ask whether an exercise should hurt. Ask for the literal script, from every vendor.
- Will it call patients who stopped attending mid-course, and only from a list I supply. The only acceptable answer to "will you call numbers I did not give you" is no.
- Does it write into my rehab software or into a calendar. Ask for the specific system name, not the word "integrations".
- How many calls can it answer at once, and what does each extra line cost per month.
- Where do WhatsApp message fees land — on your invoice with a markup, or on my own Meta account.
- Every statistic on your website — which clinics, what period, measured how. If it cannot be sourced, discount the page. That test is the reason this page carries no drop-off percentage.
- Who builds it, and who fixes it at 9pm when it mishandles a call. A named person is a better answer than a support tier.
The cost, once more, without the argument around it
From ₹2 per billed minute on Bharat Standard covering the 22 scheduled Indian languages and English, whole-minute billing, no subscription, no minimum volume and no lock-in. Add ₹2,000 per 30 days if Dvaarik supplies the number. A single-therapist clinic at 520 billed minutes pays about ₹8,040 a month during the three founding Care Plan months and about ₹3,040 a month from month four; a three-therapist clinic at 1,600 billed minutes pays about ₹11,700 and then about ₹6,700 with a second concurrent line. All prices exclude GST, which is charged at 18% when credits are loaded.
And the line that does not move: the agent books, reminds and routes. It never advises, never assesses and never touches an exercise programme. A patient whose pain is worse after a session belongs with a physiotherapist, not with software.
Tell us your problem — WhatsApp +91 93923 98750 and describe how your clinic's calls are handled today. If a physio agent is a fit, Dvaarik will say so and quote the numbers on this page. If a rehab-software-integrated vendor suits you better, Dvaarik will say that too. You can hear an agent live from the pilot page before speaking to anyone.
Frequently asked questions
What does an AI receptionist for a physiotherapy clinic cost per month in India?
With Dvaarik, voice calls are from ₹2 per billed minute — the ₹2/min Bharat Standard rate covering the 22 scheduled Indian languages and English — with no subscription and no minimum volume, plus ₹2,000 per 30 days if Dvaarik supplies the phone number. A single-therapist clinic running 520 billed minutes a month pays about ₹3,040 a month from month four, or about ₹1,040 if it points its existing clinic number at the agent. During the first three founding months the same clinic pays about ₹8,040 a month, because the ₹5,000 founding Care Plan is debited from the same credit balance. The ₹40,000 one-time build is currently free for Dvaarik's 10 founding clients, in return for keeping the Care Plan at the ₹5,000/month founding rate for three months and giving an honest testimonial plus a short case study after go-live. The minimum first credit load is ₹10,000, billed ₹11,800 with 18% GST; later top-ups start at ₹500 and credits never expire.
Can it call patients who stopped coming half way through their course of sessions?
Yes, and in physiotherapy this is usually where the money is, because a patient who stops after session four of a ten-session course takes six scheduled sessions with them. You supply the list from your own clinic records. The agent calls within the hours you set, identifies your clinic by name, states plainly why it is calling, and logs the outcome as booked, call-back-later, not-interested or no-answer. It refers to the course only in general terms — it will not restate a diagnosis, argue that more sessions are needed, or answer "do I really still need this", which goes back to the therapist. A two-minute restart call costs ₹4 of talk time at ₹2/min. Dvaarik agents call only your own patients and enquiries, never purchased or scraped lists.
Will the agent give exercise or pain advice to a patient on the phone?
No. Dvaarik's agent gives no clinical advice of any kind, for any client, under any configuration. It does not assess a symptom, grade severity, say whether soreness after a session is normal, suggest or modify an exercise, or discuss medication. When a caller describes a new or worsening problem, the agent stops trying to book, says plainly that it cannot advise, takes a verbatim note and callback number, alerts the therapist immediately, and warm-transfers to your escalation number if a human is available. You choose the escalation number and the exact refusal wording; what is not configurable is whether the agent can advise clinically.
Can it book a whole course of sessions at the same time each week?
Yes. Once the therapist has set the course, the agent can book the block — for example Tuesday and Friday at 6pm for four weeks — holding each slot while it confirms the patient's details, writing all of them into your calendar, and sending one WhatsApp confirmation that lists every date. Slot-locking stops the same time being offered twice while another call is still in progress. Booking is calendar-based, such as Google Calendar; Dvaarik has no integration with rehab practice-management or EMR systems, which is a genuine reason to choose a different vendor if your staff work inside such a system all day.
Is an AI receptionist cheaper than hiring a front-desk person for my physio clinic?
At the volumes worked through on this page, yes on money, but they are poor substitutes. The only salary benchmark Dvaarik has verified is Indeed India's medical receptionist figure of ₹13,003 a month, based on 25 reported salaries, page updated 21 Feb 2026 and checked 20 Jul 2026; there is no verified physiotherapy-specific front-desk figure and this page will not estimate one. Against that, 520 billed minutes plus the number is about ₹3,040 a month from month four. But a person helps a patient onto the table, sets up modalities, takes payment at the counter and calms a first-timer, and the agent does none of that. If your clinic has no receptionist at all, the real comparison is not AI instead of a person but AI instead of nobody answering during sessions.
Does it work in Telugu and Hindi, and will older patients cope with it?
It handles all 22 scheduled Indian languages plus English and code-mixed speech such as Hinglish, Tenglish and Tanglish, switching mid-sentence rather than asking the caller to press a key for a language. Indian languages and English are on the ₹2/min Bharat Standard rate; a Global voice for a non-Indian language is ₹4–5/min. Removing the language keypad removes a step the caller would otherwise have to get right before speaking to anyone — Dvaarik has no data on how often that step loses callers and will not invent a figure. A patient who asks for a person is handed over without argument. Dvaarik also has no data on Indian physiotherapy patients by age group, so test it with your own callers before deciding.
Is there a subscription, a minimum volume or a lock-in?
No subscription, no minimum monthly volume and no lock-in on call spend. You load prepaid credits, they never expire, and top-ups start at ₹500. If the balance reaches zero the agent pauses gracefully rather than failing badly. The one commitment is for founding clients: taking the free ₹40,000 build means keeping the Care Plan at ₹5,000 a month for the first three months, optional from month four, with the founding rate locked for six months, plus an honest testimonial and a short case study after go-live. For comparison, on figures read on their own pages on 21 Jul 2026, ConnectAI requires an ₹800/month subscription before its receptionist can be used, VaniAgent's unlimited plans carry a 3-month minimum, Scalify Labs states a 10,000 minute-per-month minimum engagement with a 3-month initial commitment, and SquadStack's entry tier is a 90-day pilot.
